You have an open Thermistor in the fuser unit or the code is false caused by power surge. To reset it, press P*C* and hit 14 start, then hit either ok or start again and machine chould reboot and clear code. If code returns then the thermistor is bad. You will have to have your local dealer replace either the themistor or the entire fuser unit.
Sharp AR-M207 clear paper path
Open all doors move levers inspect that all switch arms are still there. Sometimes when removing paper from copier the switch arm can be knocked lose or off.
Sharp ar-m207 scan to email stopped working
Hi, based on the limited info, the only things I can think you can check are : Your primary & secondary DNS settings,
Your Gateway is the same as the router,
Your smtp user name & password are re-entered & correct.
As a last resort, you could try entering the Gateway address into the primary DNS & try scanning, this would allow the scan to be done without leaving the network & could prove if the problem lies with the smtp acoount.
If you're using Gmail to scan then your Primary & secondary DNS are 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4, port number 587.
Hope this helps.
Dave.
There is Dark spots on paper when a photocopy is done
Most likely there is something on the glass or something ie: dust underneath the glass that gets in the way of the scanner and the paper(dots) or on the scanner itself(streak). I have heard many times that photocopy machines in cvs/wall greens, any kind of commercial copy places and even libraries deliberately mark on the glass with permanent marker to prevent any kind of copy fraud. You can clean the glass with rubbing alcohol or goof off to remove any stubborn ink on the glass and then use some Windex or something, but if its underneath the glass or on the scanner bar you will need to take some stuff apart clean it and place it back. IF you do that make sure its SUPER clean and you dont leave any finger prints on it
How can I replace developer in my copier?
Wouldn't necessary change the developer, only if it is causing quality issues, maybe your developer light is on, on the machine. Still should be able to use the machine.
Cheers
