This problem is caused by Mopier Mode being enabled by default. The idea of Mopier Mode is to minimise computer and network traffic by sending only 1 copy to a printer equiped with suitable internal memory. That stored copy is then used to produce the multiple copies. Most HP Laserjets do not have suitable internal memory and so only the one copy sent by the computer gets printed. To disable Mopier Mode:
Click Start
Click Devices and Printers
Right click your Laserjet Printer
Select Printer Properties
Click the Device Settings Tab
Scroll down to the bottom
If necessary, expand Installable Options
Click on Mopier Mode
Select Disable in the selection box that appears
Click Apply
You will now get multiple copies.

Make sure the Automatic Duplexing option is enabled:
Enter Control Panel then Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then Printer Properties.
Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save.
Now Automatic Duplexing should become available.

Check the main fuse if the unit blown especially if the unit is totally dead meaning no light on the main panel comes on. You may of had a power surge that blew the fuse. If you find the fuse good and the unit still does'nt power up then you have a power supply problem or something external of the PS is loading it down.

Go to "printers and faxes."
Right click on your printer and select "Printing preferences."
Select "Advanced" tab
Double click "paper output"
If "Copy count=2" then change to 1 and apply
Set "copy count=2" then APPLY
Repeat the above and now set "copy count=1"

The process of setting and resetting the copy count fixed my issues.

The paper tray has a small lock at the bottom of the tray which is broken or dislocated hence try to fix it if its dislocated or you may have to replace the try itself. But still you can use it by adding paper to the full of the tray's capacity and pressing it gentelly downwards and push it back into the printer.

75% of all print defect problems with these printers are cartridges. Try a new cartridge first. If you are using refilled/remanufactured cartridges, do not expect the same level of black as true HP cartridge. Other 25% of problems are either dirt on the scanner or bad transfer roller. Try cartridge first!

Both LED are on. Or one of them. IF one Orrange LED on Means Paper Jam. Or out of Cartridge please check...

you might try a recycled cartridge and have a lot less invested.Sounds like your cartridge is empty.Is print quality bad or light?

must be fuser unit, look for these signs :
1- upper roller damaged
2- does not have a "polished " finish
3-lower roller has ripples /waves on it

Most probably due to overheating. Or maybe it is placed jn a damp area. Or due to internal laser heating element which is responsible for drying out the printed ink. Or other reason can be your system printer settings. Try them restoring to default first.
