Your Print density could be set too high.
Try to Decrease the amount of Density through the device configuration utility.

You Must have teh HP Toolbox installed to change printer settings

You need to unzip the printer to replace the fuser film.

Make sure that the toner isn't empty, and is seater correctly. Make sure that there is paper in the printer and also check every door on the printer to make sure that there are no paper jams anywhere. If there are also other lights blinking, go to the HP website and download the manual for this printer for more specific reasons for the error.

Just as an option, when I used to work for a computer repair company, and similarly problemed printers would come in, we would first clean that roller with automotive non-silicone brake cleaning fluid. It gets all that nasty toner off of the roller and should make it work like new again. Just use some paper towel or a rag with a bit of the brake fluid on it, and run it the length of the roller. then turn the roller a bit, and repeat until it your rag is clean when wiping from left to right.

This model is known to have these issues and it is related to the main board. I would call HP and if it is under warranty they will replace it with a refurbished unit. If not under warranty, then it will cost more than it's worth to repair it. Sorry for the bad news.

go to INFORMATION menu then select CONFIGURATION PAGE.

When you go into print you have to change your settings of how many you want printed there

Set up again new printer and set it as default printer. Delete the old printer icon and try to print again.

Follow the steps listed below to print the PQ troubleshooting pages. These pages consist of one procedure page and five color test pages.

1. Print a copy of this Web page and walk over to the printer you are troubleshooting.

The message PRINTING... PQ TROUBLESHOOTING displays on the control panel until the printer finishes printing the PQ troubleshooting pages. The printer returns to the Ready state after printing the PQ troubleshooting pages.

Hi there maximum time we found it is a the head problem. The print head is what the cartridges sit in inside of the printer. For resolve the problem please follow these.
Open the printer and wait for the carriage to slide over. Some how if its not come then Unplug the printer & Manually slide the carriage. Now Remove the ink cartridges from the print head & Use wet warm cotton swab or use alcohol to thoroughly clean the print head. Repeat this until there is no ink residue coming off on the cotton swab. After finished it make the head dry then fix it back. Now Try to print something now If that does not work then follow the next step.
Remove the printer data cable & restart the PC & printer. Then fit back the data cable & turn on the printer. Hope that's start working , if no luck then Uninstall the printer driver & restart the PC & Printer both again. Now install the driver of the printer and connect it with PC ,Turn on printer & go for a test print from the printer preference. Thanks & waiting for your reply.

Try the PCL5 driver.
If this doesn't work, contact HP support and ask them for a Windows 7 driver.

If the drum cartridge also has this line on the cylinder, you need a new drum cartridge.

Clean your print jets. It sounds like a buildup may be causing issues.

Usually the paper source is set to Auto in Printing Preferences so if you put paper in manual tray it will feed from manual tray and will override the tray 1 selection. If you specifically want to change it to a tray disabling tray 1 you can do so if you go into Control Panel, Printer and right click on the printer and select Printing Preferences and then on Paper menu change the paper source.

Hi there,
To find the static IP and Mac Address of your printer, press and hold green button for 10 seconds until green and yellow light starts blinking together, it will take out 3 print outs, 1 is printer information, 2nd will be configuration page, 3rd will be the toner status page,
Also you can Check your printer manual. This is the easiest and fastest way to find the printer's MAC address
Alternatively Print out a configuration page.
