Keep getting paper jam error

If your printer has a paper tray, do not fill the tray. Overfilling the paper tray is frequently causes paper jams. Many printers have sliding mechanisms that allow different types and sizes of paper to be fed into the printer. If the slider is not correctly positioned, it can cause a paper jam.

Error messages and printing problems

Hi,
Paper mismatch errors occur because the printer scans the width of the envelope before printing. If the paper size setting in the printer driver does not match the paper actually loaded in the printer, the printer reports a 'Paper size error'.
Try to adjust the printer and envolopee settings..
Regards,
polysandy

False paper jams--tried cleaning, reset, etc.

Have you tried this method? (listed below), if not, give it a try.
Remove all the cartridges, clean the contact points on the cartridges and on the printer using soft brush/cotton dipped in alcohol/acetone /spirit.
While they are drying, reset your printer; Turn it off > Disconnect usb cable, power cord, inthernet cable; >remove the papers from the tray >open the back panel door (the rear door where you clear paper jam). Also turn of the main switch which the dc adapter plugged in. After keeping it Off for about 5 minutes, turn on again using only the power cord, and again leave it on for few minutes > turn it off > connect all the cables > again turn it On and keep pressing the power button while it boots up. Now you can install the cartridges.

If there's not internal problem or wrong cartridges number, then your problem will be definitely fixed.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Printer Setup & Support Number Call 1-805-225-6690 We are 24 Hour Available Call Now For Help.

I suggest to create a network connection, for the printer.
First, connect the printer directly to one of the computer and then by the network connect the printer to the second computer. The second computer will not be able to scan, but it will be able to print.

HP Photosmart all in one C3180

My suggestion: Don't buy HP. I have the same region coding problem. All I want to do is buy HP ink, put it in my HP printer and print stuff. Too hard. I've wasted 30 pounds on ink and another 30 pounds on "support" phone calls to HP. Hopeless. I will never buy HP again. Waste of time and money.

How do I re install my HP PSC 1610 printer

Good afternoon Bob You should be able to find all of the drivers and installation software for download at the HP support site: HP PSC 1610 All in One Printer Software and Drivers I've found the HP installs to usually be pretty user-friendly. If you're merely trying to download the printer driver, that is there as well. Hoping this helps, and Happy Holidays! D
