HP PSC 1610 All-In-One InkJet Printer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Hi,

The solution for an offline error of a printer is to check the proper connection of the printer.

Two options exist to turn off the offline mode.

If you choose the first option to change the offline state of the printer,

then go to Control Panel and then 'Printer and Faxes' option on the Control Panel.

Double-click on the printer you want to change to online mode from the displayed window.

A pop-up window will open and you need to select 'Uncheck Printer Offline' option from the menu bar.

try this:

Hope this helps you.

If you install the Hp wireless driver on your Mac, that should do it.

Good afternoon Bob

You should be able to find all of the drivers and installation software for download at the HP support site:
HP PSC 1610 All in One Printer Software and Drivers

I've found the HP installs to usually be pretty user-friendly. If you're merely trying to download the printer driver, that is there as well.

Hoping this helps, and Happy Holidays!

Hello Gina,

All you have to do to turn off the printer is to Press the ON button once.

HP PSC 1610... | Answered on Mar 05, 2014 | 65 views

The ON button (on your control panel) turns the machine on or off. When the machine is "off" a minimal amount of power is still supplied to the machine. It's like in "sleep" or stand-by mode. To completely turn it off ... i.e. disconnect the power supply to the machine, you'll have to (after turning it off), unplug the power cord from the back (bottom left) of the machine.

Is the formfeed in the document itself? The printer won't print a formfeed by itself without being told to do so. Of course, if there is no formfeed in the document, then the printer won't print anything at all, just leave the document in memory.

Are you getting error related to incompatible ink or Ink cartridge defective and this is Genuine cartridge purchased, then check for the Expiry date on the cartridge and call HP support to get assistance.

If the cartridge is defective and if the cartridge is still in warranty, You can probably expect to get a replacement cartridge without charges.

best thing to do is get rid of the used cartridges and use HP OEM ink products- they might be costly but will work when asked to and wont ruin the inside of your printer and force you to buy a new one- once you have used a third party ink all your HP warranties were nullified,
THIRD PARTY INKS are NOT the way forward. their ink pigments are usually the wrong type and often not the right shade of colour, which will make colour prints look dull or poor colour calibration.
