Hi,

The unit may have a paper jam or stuck object inside, if you have experience a paper jam error before, check the printer for any object or paper stuck inside, clean roller.

Some error like this can be a problem on the feeder sensor and by this time you may need to replace and repair the unit.

what i might do is to remove that application using control panel, add and remove software. uninstall the printer software disconnect printer from pc, reboot/restart, go to printers in control panel remove all printers listed, then make sure you have right software for your printer. shut down this time.reconnect printer cable and boot back up. reinstall the soft ware with printer on.

Disconnect the printer from the computer remove loaded paper, turn it off & disconnect it from AC for at least 30 mins.That should resove your problem.

I am not sure what your problem is with the power problem with the printer, but I might have an idea how you can fix your problem with communication. There is a web site called "DriverSupport.com" that has drivers that work. I must warn you though that they have a charge. If you don't cancel membership, they will charge $9.99 a month. I like the business, so I go ahead and pay the $9.99, as they keep all of my drivers up to date.

If this is not a factory new cartridge then that may be the reason it is giving this error.

Error communicating with scanning device

Check whether you have a head cleaning option ,if yes then clean the printhead after cleaning process do your alignment process

Open up the printer cover and clean the timing strip with alcohol (That is that little long strip that goes all the printer long from left to right and passes behind the carriage)

hhhmmm try to download a resstter for your printer model, cause that error code cud mean that some part of your printer has reach its limits, printers nowadays have a counter in it. if you cant find any resetter software for your printer you shoukd call the HP tech. support cause they are the only who knows the right key combination on your printer panel that allows the parts to be reset. for more help visit Cbr tech solutions

Hi If you open Devices and Printers, right click on the menu that comes up and click on "See what's printing", a dialogue box should come up with a list of documents to be printed. In the second column is the status of each document. The first one in the queue will probably say "paused". Highlight this, click on the document menu and remove the tick against "pause" and the printing should restart. Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya Cheers

Photo paper may be too slick for the roller to pick up. Can you "force feed" the paper through? Maybe try cleaning the roller(s) with isopropyl alcohol to make it tacky again.

You can't use the photo papers in this kind of printers

Hi,Try the steps belowGo to Start / Run and type in "services.msc" without quotation marks, then press Enter or click OK.(If you are using Windows Vista/Win 7, You need to click on START button and under search program and files - Enter the Services.msc and click the same program from Program list that appear )In the window that opens (Services) look for "Print Spooler" on the rightRight-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service".Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them.Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you're good to go.Go back into the properties of the "Print Spooler" tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately.The Print spooler depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service.
