Hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one

Welcome to Fixya.

You can try the following to remedy this problem as I had experienced it myself and was able to resolve it through the following means :
  • Remove the top lid, unscrew the 5 screws, 2 on the left, 1 on the top (under the lid), and 2 more hidden under the grey board which can be remove with caution.
  • Once opened, clean up the glass with some special clean-up liquid and dry. Clean-up the white square also under the lid.
Put the pieces back together carefully and try printing out.

Hope this helps, Thanks for using Fixya.

Once I turn my printer

During printing, the HP product makes unusual or loud noises. You might describe the noise as grinding, squeaking, or screeching.
Step one: Clean the rollers in the back of the product
    1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
    2. On the back of the product, find the rear door.
    3. Squeeze the tab or tabs on the rear door, and then pull the rear door toward you to remove it.
    4. Open the rear door on newer Photosmart, Officejet, or PSC productsInside the back of the product, rotate the paper rollers with your fingers to make sure that they can turn freely.
    5. Rotate the rollers located on the inside of the rear door to make sure that they can turn freely.
    6. Remove any torn pieces or scraps of paper that you can see.
    7. Dampen a clean, lint-free cloth or swab with distilled water, and then wipe the paper rollers inside the product and on the inside of the rear door clean. Rotate the paper rollers with your fingers to clean all the way around them.
    8. Reattach the rear door. Make sure that it snaps into place.
Step two: Clean the rollers in the front of the product
    1. Lift the cartridge access door to access the front paper rollers in the product.

The pinch rollers are the small metal rollers directly above the paper rollers. Rotate the pinch rollers with your fingers to clean all the way around them.

How to install hp psc

Go to this page courtesy of HP:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00808543&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&os=2100&product=303756&sw_lang=
According to HP's website the driver is located in Windows Vista 64. Go into the printers area and click on where it says "add a printer". It will be a local printer and then when it comes to the make and manufacturer. Choose them and if it prompts you for the vista cd then put it in so it can install the drivers for you.

My printer won't print.

There are different things to consider if your printer is not printing your document

1. Check if the printer is on
2. Check if the cable from your printer is properly connected to the tower or your pc.
3. Check if your ink cartridges are not empty ( note: most printers will not print if one of the ink cartridge is empty)
4. Check for the error message that appears on your screen every time that your printer fails to print the document ( note: this will help you isolate problem)
5. You can use this link to download the manual for your printer ( this include steps to check your printer settings )

I have a hp psc 2355 printer everytime i insert

I had the same problem with my HP L7590 All In One. After trying a number of things to reset nothing worked. Then I tried this just as a last resort and it worked.
Insert the/a memory card( it will tell you that you can only use one card at a time).
With the card still in turn off the printer using the power button.
Wait for 30 seconds then turn power on again.
The screen should say reading card. So wait for it to finish reading and all should be fixed.
If this does not work, try again using a different card.
good luck
****
Send me Kudos if it works.

Have you installed any drivers?
If you have follow instruction below

Navigate to "control pannle"

Find "Printers" option (may be different; based on Windows Version)

Click on printer and open it.
If there is a list of printer jobs righ click on one and click "clear are jobs"

IF there is one job still stuck in the list you need to hit the clear or stop button on the printer.

If that dosen't remove the job you need to reboot the Computer.

I have tried a couple of the recommended solutions

Did you try to Reset the printer?

1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer while the printer is on

2. Now press and OK and Cancel button at the same time

3. While holding them plug in the power cord

4. Release the buttons when the printer turns On

It will reset the printer and you will see the message on the LCD also.

If this also did not help then try another cartridge and if that also does not help then there may be hardware issue with the printer .

Though still let me know what happened

Will not print on command

Greetings welcome to Fixya.

Might I suggest downloading and installing the latest drivers for your HP Printer.
See my published guide entitled How to Install the latest drivers for Hewlett Packard Printer!!!

Be sure to connect the USB cable to both the computer and the Printer then turn on the Power. Try different USB ports on your computer/laptop.

Navigate to the Windows control panel and double click printers and faxes.
Click print test page on the bottom right of the box.
Also view the print que, right click on your printer and set it as the default printer.
Then in properties view the print que!

Also when you are printing in MS Word, click file print, then when the settings come up for the print ensure that your HP PSC 2410 All-In-One InkJet Printer is selected in the top most section of the box.

Tell me how it goes via comment!
Thanking you

Want to clean the jets of cartridge, help required

If you look through the printer maintenance functions of the printer folder in Windows, there should be an option to 'clean' the cartridges and their respective jets.

However, it's not recommended to do this too often, because just a few cleanings can deplete the ink in the cartridges.

If you have missing lines or jets aren't putting out ink across the whole printed page, then the cartridges may have to be replaced.
