RESET PRINT COUNT HP 1020 PRINTER

A cold reset should not reset the print count. Those are usually stored in non-volatile memory to prevent scammers from selling used products as new.

Solve horizontal line in cartage 12A

Horisontal line: I assume you mean a line across the paper movement direction. Please, inspect if the line is repeating on exact distance from one to the other. Measure the distance, divide by Pi (3.14) and you'll get the diameter of the faulty roller. Also, please, make a half print test page (open the cover in the middle of the printing process). Inspect if the line is appearing before the fusing unit or after it. Try printing with different cartridge, just to be sure the cartrige is causing the problem. Primary charge roller and its bearrings can be dirty and not charging enough the drum, causing black lines Weared stripe on the OPC drum caused by friction with jammed paper improperly pulled out can also be the root of the problem. Faulty laser-scanner unit can also write black lines randomly. Weared teflon sleeve on the fusing unit can accumulate toner and print repetitive defects.

Hp LaserJet 1020 Not printing in Windows 7 Enterprise N.

Is your computer recognizing it? Try opening your Control Panel in Windows, find Devises and Printers and see if its listed. If not disconnect it from computer, then reboot. Hook it back up again, reboot your computer and see if Windows finds it. Also check to see if the printer is set as default printer. If not set it as such. Try it again.

HP Laserjet 1020 will not respond - warning light is on (not blinking) and the ready light is off.

Hello, remove the cartridge and check inside the printer, on the left side of the sponge roller about 1 inch/2.5 cm down, there is a lever that engages a flag at the back of the printer ( the sensor in case tells the printer that the cartridge is in the printer) check that lever and make sure it moves freely. If there is a pice of paper behind that lever, when you insert the cartridge the lever will not go all the way.

How to Adjust Temperature on HP Laserjet 1020 Monocrome printer

I think you must stop printing for a continuous period of more than 15 mins of printing. Wait at least 5 mins for the printer to cool down internally and then you can start printing again, but not more than a continuous 15 mins.

My HP Laserjet 1020 powers on but now it's not recognized by my computer anymore. What happened & how can I get it to reconnect?

The solution to this problem is as simple as disconnecting your printer, going into CONTROL PANEL / PRINTERS AND SCANNERS, right click on the icon for your laser printer, then select "remove." Once you have removed the printer in the Control Panel, plug the printer back into your USB port, power it on, and it should plug & play from there.

Problem printng on both sides of page

Hello, the problem is not with the printer. Clasic case: you need to print 20 pages on both sides, you select print on both sides (manually) and make sure you only have 10 sheets of paper in the paper tray, you give the comand to print, after the even pages are all printed you flip them in the paper tray, at this point the printer will print the uneven pages. If you have more than 10 pages in this case the printer will print continuos because the paper tray has a sensor for the presence of the paper. Hope this hepls, I'll wait on your feedback.

HP LaserJet 1020 won't print. Error: HP LaserJet

Did this just suddenly happen or was it after you replaced the toner cartridge or opened the door?
I have found that if the toner cartridge is not completly positioned into the printer, it can give this error.
