Disconnect cables (except power) and try turn it on. If message dissapears be sure that you delete all pending files to print in your computer (specially large pdf).

An error message that starts with '0x...' or 'C2...' that might include the text 'Problem with Printhead,' 'Problem with Printer,' or 'Ink System Failure' displays on the printer control panel.

Cancel all the documents in the print queue, (just do it whether they are actually deleted or not), press "cancel" on button the printer and restart your system and also the printer. If possible, please leave the printer switched off for few minutes and don't forget to use the "Power" button to turn if off or on. I found this on the HP support site:

The power light is on, and the resume light is blinking.

The printer might be waiting to complete a print job or to receive data from your computer.

Solution

Wait for the printer to finish the current task. The printer is waiting for the ink to dry on freshly printed paper.

Solution

1. Remove the paper with fresh ink.
2. Press the resume button.

The printer might be out of paper.

1. Load paper in the paper tray.
2. Press the resume button.

The printer might have a paper jam.

Clear the paper jam. If the resume light continues to blink after the paper jam is cleared,

OR

if the print carriage is stuck or making a grinding noise, then follow these steps.

Solution

1. Lift the top cover of the printer.
2. Turn the printer off and then on again.
3. Unplug the power cable from the back of the printer when the grinding noise starts. Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
4. Movethe print carriage toward the middle of the printer (this proceduremight take a couple of tries to get the timing correct).
5. Remove the print cartridges and close the top cover.
6. Plug the power cord into the back of the printer. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
7. Open the top cover, reinstall the print cartridges, and then close the top cover.

The printer may be ready to eject banner paper.

Solution

Press the resume button to eject the banner paper.

Click on "Start, Run", type "services.msc"

On the right side of the services window, scroll down to "Print Spooler". Double-click it.

If startup type is "disabled", click the drop-down and set to "Automatic" and then click "Start". If already on automatic, click "Stop" to stop the service. Once stopped, click "Start" to restart the service.

Reboot and try again :)
