Miele LP cooktop: we turned

Hello

Keep the air holes around the burners free of debris and grease by clearing out the holes with a thin piece of wire or a toothpick. Cleaning out the holes helps the ignitor light the cooktop

Listen for the clicking sound of the ignitor, then turn off the burner if you don't hear the clicking.

Turn the burner to the "Off" position, if you continue to hear the ignitor tick after you've lit the burner. Turn the burner back on to relight it. Ignitors normally make a brief series of electrical clicking sounds when you turn on the ignitors.

Let the ceramic igniter dry out if it has gotten wet and the burner won't ignite. If the igniter isn't wet, clear out the little holes in the burner by chipping out any blockage with a straightened paper clip.

Clean the electrodes if the burners still don't light. The electrode is in the burner base. Clean the metal part with a soft cloth. You can use emery board on the metal part but not the white ceramic part.

Miele KM443. Elements switching on and off every 5 to 7 seconds.

as far i know it is normal if u put at high control after a sec,the sencor control is turn off then a sec again it open coz of the sensor, design the sensor for not overheating the hob.it is normal try to position the control in in not a max position.or the pot u use is exactly in the circle or bigger dont put a small one in the bigger hole of ur elctric hob.tnx

Miele induction stovetop error FE31? It caused my fuse to blow but now can't get it to work. Any ideas?

Finally I found the meaning of FE 31. FE31 means "control panel is dirty" or "some object is on the control panel" When error code FE31 appear on the control panel, clean the control panel area with clean wet paper towel or remove any object on the control panel. If you do not trust me, turn on the cooktop and put small piece of paper towel on control panel. You cannot see FE31 error code soon. Turn off the cooktop and remove the piece of paper towel, the error code EF31 will disappear.

Hi I have a Miele KM5676 cooktop. I'm getting a FE error.

It is a generic hardware error and should contain a number which pinpoints the fault. You will likely need a service call. https://www.google.com/search?q=Miele+KM5676+cooktop.+FE+error ..

Miele HR1124 cooktop - turning one burner on keeps igniter clicking for all 4 burners.

It is a gas appliance and it is a Miele, so you need a registered gas technician to service it. In my experience, the spark igniters work on all burners. To clean the burners, remove them all and put them in a large saucepan. Add cold water and dish liquid, bring slowly to a simmer and turn off. When cold, rinse and scrub with a plastic pot brush, paying particular attention to holes and slots. This was a job we did in the restaurant every week. It is a good plan to do before you go to bed for the least disruption. The product specs says; Automatic re-ignitionSealed burners • M Pro Dual Stacked Burner System So perhaps my hack won't work if they aren't removable.
