Miele washers have a small panel on front toward bottom of machine. Flip this panel open with the key provided inside the soap dispenser drawer. There should be a small orange coloured ring which you pull to release the door. To cancel program press and hold the start button for about 5 or so seconds. this should give you the option of cancelling the program. Hope this may help cheers from down under

The motherboard governs the release of the door so I'm afraid you need to contact plumber. you could try unplugging it and seeing if it will release after few minutes

My tip: call the service department and ask them what the problem should be. If they refuse to answer, just ask over and over and over again until somebody will finally be connected to you which has to tell you how and what. If a company can repair it, they HAVE to give at least an answer to what is broken.

open up and see if any brackets are bent or broken

the unit has a brake you cannot spin the drum in that way,with the back off there should be a lever with a cable on it pull the lever back and get someone to try the bowl then

Is water actually turned on? Are hose and valve screens clear of debris? Are hot and cold water hoses reversed?

could be a couple things - a spring (there are four of them ) that the drum hangs from could be broken or has come off the mount. Another issue may be the arm that holds the inner drum - it may have corroded and become unstable - we can usually detect this by opening the drain below the drum and empty it into a Tupperware - examine the water and look for small black fragments - they will be hard like metal and about the size of a grain of sand or larger. These are magnesium particles from the arm that supports the inner drum - unfortunately the inner drum would have to be changed if that is the case

It stops because your water level sensor has detected the load point water level. More than likely the timer mechanism or the motor is fried. You can test these using a good Volt/Ohm meter. Be sure to disconnect the power before doing anything to a washer. Unless it's a lose connection or bad switch, it's usually more cost effective to replace the washer.

Sounds Like it hasn't drained, or thinks there is still water in it. Take the drain hose out of the standpipe and place into a bowl. This will allow the machine to drain into the bowl. You'll need to then check the drain pump to find out why it hasn't drained....normally something like a hair pin stuck in the impellor stopping it turning

One of the springs has probably come off,take off the top and check all the spring attachments.
