after leavening the machine off for at least 1/2 an hour and try again if not there is a problem with the door lock it may be faulty, unplug the machine take the top off and push the drum to the rear and using a small screwdriver remove the door lock and replace from the manufactures website eric

Usuali, there is no fuse inside miele washing machine. One possibility is, that switch for closed door is not working properly. Try to close door with some more force. If that does not help, switch is gone, or something inside on machines "brain"

First, unplug the washer for minutes then plug in and see if it solve the problem, if not then check the carbon brushes on the motor. These are a part which is expected to wear and when they do the motor cannot rotate the drum, which means the speed sensor thinks something is wrong and throws the error.good luck. using a spirit level make sure that the tub is still level in both directions replace the dampener rods that hold the tub up

I have the same problem, i have cleaned the filter area and there was a plastic sweet wrapper in there also. However, I have put the machine back on an express cycle ans still have the error message coming up?? Drain Fault! I then tried to spin and the spin cycle wasn't working eithet. Whilst the machine was still on i patially undone the filter cap and removed a full tray of water, it then began to spin. What could yhe problem be?

IF you run it empty it should not shake, if it does then it is a bearing or a balance weight.

The solenoid has a rubber diagphram inside it with tiny holes in it which could be blocked or the diagphram is no longer serviceable and requires replacing. you probably have to replace the solenoid body complete.
