Two things. Multipart forms have a film on the top copy. Change the ribbon to another brand. Some work better than other. Probably if it printing some on the top copy, and it works on regular paper. If it does work on regular paper its the ribbon may be old or change to different brand. A work around is to use eraser on the form where you going to print. This will the remove the film, and allow to type there.

Best probability is the power supply inside the machine has failed. Could be internal fuse no usually. This is generally a major repair.

If you have checked the ribbon, and see that it is moving by looking at the letters on it. You may be in stencil postion. Just below the ribbon there is an r and and s Push the r button and try it.

One it could be a bad ribbon. the other is a bad print hammer, or is failing, there is platic cap on the selenoid that cracks after years. Needs replaced most likely, Or the selenoid plunger is gummed up.

Most likely the power supply has failed. Could be a fuse, both are internal. Fuse not likely.
