After that, you should see your home wifi name in the list (as in the photo in the tutorial.). If it's not showing up, you can try to change your home wifi settings to accept both 802.11b standart and 802.11g standart. (Because your device only supports 802.11b standart). Steps of changing these settings of a wirless modem changes from manufacturer to manufacturer. I hope this helps.

Try the following workaround and see if that helps.

For some users, the following workaround has been successful:

Connect your device, go to Device Manager (Computer > Properties).

Find the Portable Devices node; Locate the Windows Mobile device entry, choose to uninstall the driver. Reconnect your device and try again.

The expert gave me instructions (and informaiton about the "consequences" of) to do a hard reset.

To remove unused programs go to Remove Programs
(start -> settings, system tab)

Have you tried a hard reset (deletes everything)

1. Press and hold down the Calendar and iTask buttons.

2. While holding down these buttons, use the stylus to lightly press the Reset button on the bottom of the iPAQ Pocket PC for about two seconds.

3. When the Pocket PC screen begins to fade, release the Calendar and iTask buttons first, and then remove the stylus from the Reset button.

4. The Pocket PC resets and powers on.

Yes, this blinking green light is an appointment notification. So if you set up an appointment for September 30th, 2005 at 9:00 AM with a reminder set to 1 day....then on Sept 29th at 9:00AM, the IPAQ will turn itself on and a reminder screen will appear on your IPAQ. After a length of time (the default of which I can't remember now) the Ipaq will turn itself off, but will leave that green light flashing. When you then turn the IPAQ back on, the reminder screen will again appear and you can choose to dismiss the reminder or snooze it.

Can I ask, did you have any problems with the company, elaptoprepair.com?

I have read things and i wanted to make sure this was a real company with solid service and not a scam. I have read some people complaining that they did not get their laptops back and there were double charges on credit cards. I just want to know if you found this to be true and what your experience with this company was.

You're probably going to have to set up an ActiveSync connection between your PC and your 2415, then run the program installer on your PC while you're connected to the iPaq.

Did you select your account from the Accounts menu?

Hi man. Yes you should first upgrade/reinstall the ROM. That includes your firmware, OS and drivers. Go to HP's web site and download these uprgades. Follow the instructions that come with these files. If after this it still doesn't work please let me know.
