Acer TravelMate 272XC Notebook Questions & Answers
Wifi
I looked at the specs, it does not say you have wireless. That said, you can look in Control Panel, Device Manager, Network Adapters, do you see a wireless adapter? If no, you can purchase a USB Network Adapter and install. The user guide should instruct you in the setup and use. Take a look at this, For Example:

There is usually either a button or a slide switch that controls if the wifi is on or not. It is marked with an icon that looks like a tower with two curved bars coming out of each side. Be sure that switch is set to "on". Secondly, you will see a small icon in your system tray (bottom right hand side of your screen) that looks like two little computer monitors. You need to click on that and have it search for wireless networks. Once you find your wireless router simply click on that router and click connect.
Medion notebook hardrive
If you're gonna format it using i.e a Windows XP-CD I guess you'll have to press C? H should be for booting to harddrive.
Connecting to the internet on the acer laptop
Reinstall software there was probably an updated version of the software you are currently using, this happens all of the time. Notification is null when it comes to these vendors.
Acer laptop - no sound
Not that I know of ? Use the
volume control manager in the start menu under accessories to make sure
that all of the audio channels are turned on, and that it is setup for
you configuration such as 2 speakers, 3 speakers and a sub woofer,
ETC..., and not muted. If all
else fails, go to the device manager buy right clicking my computer and
selecting properties, and then go to the hardware tab. look for sound
video and game controllers, if any of them have a yellow (!) by them
they most likely need drivers. else, try uninstalling all of the audio
ones, and restarting your machine. When it comes back up, follow the
steps in the add new hardware wizard.
