Thank you for your question.
Fixya has many manuals online to view and download to assist in problem solving.
Your manual is at the link provided.
http://www.fixya.com/support/p397663-lg_studioworks_775n_white_17_crtI would suggest you download it, it is a small file of 2Kb and on page A11 you will see that you need to turn on the "degauss" function. This is essential on CRT Monitors.
Also another idea is to ensure that you don't have speakers placed too close to the CRT Monitor, they will "mess" with you display, if this is the case, move the speakers away from the monitor to correct this situation.
Hope this works for you.
Kind regards
I conneccted my new pc with windows7 to LG 775N
If you have the posibility try to connect to another monitor and then set the rezolution to minimum (800 x 640 or 1024 x 768) and set the frequency to minimum also (about 60 or 72) and then after the shutdown connect the LG monitor. If all it's ok try to resize to maximum refresh rate (for 1024 x 768 is 85 Hz or for 1280 x 1024 is 60 Hz).
If you don't have any other monitor try to enter in Safe Mode (press F8 key before entering in operating system). After that right click on my computer icon from desktop or from Start Menu and from the Management, Device Manager - Display Adapter right click on video adapter name and choose uninstall and then restart. After restart windows should detect again the card and the monitor.
Hi need some help with 17
You can try starting your computer in safe mode and restore your computer to another safe point. usually this problem is caused by an update or a new driver installation/update...
EHT FAILURE

Check with the manufacturer information that you have the refresh rates and maximum resolution set correctly. If in doubt, go to your display properties and try something basic to test if this is the problem. A basic setting may be as low as 1024x768 at 60 Hz.
(You can access your display settings by right-click the desktop anywhere and choose properties, then settings).
Leave the monitor at that setting for a while to see if the monitor changes the picture.
If the picture changes, it may be component failure in the monitor. If not, the problem is then related to the settings from your VGA card are too high or dense causing the monitor to fail after a time. Try something higher like 1280x1024 @ 60Hz and keep going till the picture fails. Compare the best functioning resolution with the manufacturer claims about the product in the product documentation.
Be sure there are no cable bunches and the power cables are not wrapped up with the VGA cable under the desk or there are not too many cables lying about, although unlikely, this has been known to distort the picture.
Let us know if this helps.
