Most cameras quit recording if there is not enough space available in the Memory drive. If your videos are being saved to internal memory rather than an external (SD) card, there might not be enough space to record more than "a few videos". If videos are being saved to internal memory, adding/installing a "SD" card should fix your problem for you.

hi, it must be because you let your cam without using it for a long time with the battery mounted on it... the camera discharged completely the battery and it is dry now, so you need to replace it !
