Recording is all wavy so are filming cannot
This is most likely caused by a damaged or misaligned video drum and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

Panasonic PV-DV53D
I was having the same problem. here's the solution that worked for me - should do it for you as long as your camera stays on long enough.
1. Take out the tape - mine stayed on longer (without blinking) when the tape was not in.
2. press the menu button (near the viewfinder)
3. Use he wheel on top next to the viewfinderto scroll through the choices
4. Choose "display setup" by pushing the wheel in
5. Choose "C. Rest" by pushing the wheel in
6. Turn camera off
7. Next time you turn camera on you should be able to view tapes and record.
hope that helps!

Dew detected error signal
Dew has condensed in the camera. Eject the cassette but leave the cassette door open.remove the battery . Borrow a hair drier . set it to optimum temperature(not vey hot but but hot enough to cause discomfort when blown on fingers). direct the hot air through the cassette compartment door for about five minutes. reattach the battery and reinsert the tape.
Good Luck,
Luwangula

I have a Panasonic minDV palmcorder and need a USB
try http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support
...some camcorders they show acces/cords for..
..cannot remember if their usb cord is a weird proprietary plug or not (vaguely remember that it was or another brand that people grumble about).
...a least can try the mini usb for a friends card reader or digital camera and see if fits (for size anyway)

Double Red Flashing Light
I just posted another solution on the main link. Basically hook up the unit to the ac adapter, reset the menu to get rid of the blinking red light, and then put a new tape in on camera mode. The unit was able to record again and also work in camera mode.
