Get the drivers from the link below. The model shown is different, but the driver are the same for a number of Panasonic Mini DV cameras:

That's correct.
Older cameras cannot support the newer SDHC cards.
You camera is most likely limited to a 4 gig card.
Check your camera manaul for specifics.

Connect with an appropriate firewire cable.
Many users try USB which will only transfewr Still photos.

Try a cleaning casette and see if it does anything to the problem. (a DV cleaner)

Do you have a memory card installed? If you do, try another card - it might be the card that's bad.

These very thin delicate cables are a major problem, yes you can get it repaired, but your looking at maybe more than the camera cost new these days, sorry.

This Model is No Longer Available.However, if you are Purchasing a Used One, it would cost you around £ 200 for 2006 Model.
