This is actually a domestic VCR, not a camcorder. As it is over 17 years old, it is probably just worn out. Any repair would be financially unviable.

take it to an electronic retailer ( JAYCAR or the like ) and identify the connections they have a range of adaptors and chargers go e bay and search for-- charger and cord for ( your camcorder)

This is now over five years old, and has doubtless been superseded by an updated model. It is highly unlikely that there will be a driver for it. However, as it uses an SD card, all you need to do is to plug this into your computer's card reader (if your computer does not have one, they are available on Ebay), and transfer your videos thusly.

Does the mike connector fits the camera?? Tthe mikes cable are in good shape?? Try another mike. Is the receiving plug in good condition on the camera??
