In addition to having th cable and installing the proper drivers, you also need software to transfer data between your phone and computer. For example, you can use this software to transfer data.

Not exactly a solution. I tried leaving it off overnight and tried it several times after removing and inserting the batteries. I also cleaned the contacts with contact cleaner and a Q tip. It did not fix it. But I just left it off for 2 days meaning to go to the Verizon store and get it fixed or replaced. But I turned it on now and it fixed itself! Model VX8300. Maybe the contact cleaning did it but it had to dry more. You can use a Q Tip dipped in a cup of water with a teaspoon of Mr.Clean. But then rinse it with a water wet Q tip and then dry it with a paper towel. I used contact cleaner.

1.can call *228 and press 1 to reprogram your phone and both your general password (Phone Lock Code) and restrictions password (Service Lock Code) will be reset to their default values (the last 4 digits of your telephone number for both).
2.Go to the service provider's office ,they will provide the code for you.

You can unlock it by flashing your mobile if your mobile is a CDMA mobile...

verizon wireless stores will be able to print one out for you

remove your battery and keep near by warm place for 1 hrs and reinsert the battery try to switch on the phone its not working and pls charge your phone for 2hrs it will turn horn

AT&T isn't going to fix it.
If you recently got it I suggest you buy a warranty and wait a week and then get it fixed threw the warranty.
