It will not run by
Could be the vanes in the pump are worn out not producing enough pressure for the fuel to blow out properly resulting in shutdown(for safety). Go online and see if you can get a pump rebuild kit to rebuild pump

I have reddy heater 35000
I have a LP gas version. I had to disconnect some kind of sensor (looks like a watch battery with 2 red wires). I made a jumper wire and put in place of red wires. Works fine now. This sensor might be an Oxygen sensor.

Can i run diesel fuel in my m50a reddy heater
Yes you can run Diesel in this heater but you will have to turn the pressure up on the back of the pump.
You want the nose cone to be a good glowing orange and with Diesel you may need more air pressure to achieve the proper burning of the heater with the least amount of fumes.

MY READY HEATER STARS FOR 3 SECONDS THEN SHOUT
This can be from either a bad connection from the thermocouple to the gas valve or it could be a bad high limit switch.
If you run a jumper wire between the two leads on the thermocouple and the units runs then you may need to replace the High limit Switch.
If that does not solve the problem then clean the end of the thermocouple lead that goes into the gas valve.
Thanks

What makes the heater start
This is normal. It has a time limit to fire off. The heater will cut off if it does not light. It sounds like it is never lighting up. Check your ignition source. I am not sure if you have a spark plug type or a glow bar.

I have a Readdy Heater
The pump is not applying enough pressure to allow sufficient fuel volume to the plug. if the plug is not receiving a proper spray to vaporize the fuel at contact, it will not provide enough flame.

Reddy Heater R55 concerns
They are grounds, and should have two screws on the burner tray to hold it from moving. On my heater this is where the grounds get attached. It gives the igniter a dedicated direct ground.

I have ready heater 150,
No fuel!! Several things can cause this, empty fuel tank, dirty fuel filter, plugged screen in the nozzle assembly,or plugged nozzle. So lets clean up the fuel system by first removing the top section of the heater and exposing the burner tray. Remove the tray and locate the fuel nozzle, remove the nozzle, now they say you can not clean them, I say with a q-tip, tooth pick and carb cleaner you can just be careful not to damage the nozzle. Behind the nozzle is a screen assembly these corrode at times so clean it up too. Below the nozzle assembly is the flame sensor, clean this with windex and a soft terry cloth rag, make sure it will have a clear unobstructed view of the flame.Put the nozzle assembly back together, and now inspect the fuel line for cracks, holes, and dry rot replace if necessary. Trace the lines down to the side where they come thru the case. Remove the side cover and locate the fuel line and in line filter, remove the filter. Cleaning this is easy you need a compressor and blow gun, all you do is blow air backwards thru the filter and instantly its clean. Inspect fuel lines and reassemble. Now make sure that you have clean fuel in your tank, and there is no water in it as well.Plug it in and you should now be heating like new. If not it could be your fuel pump!

Will the fan on the reddy heater not run if the
The fan motor runs regardless of the igniter as it is also the fuel pump. Possibly you may need to replace the motor but try this first. Remove the top section of the heater this exposes the fan motor, try spinning the motor by hand,it should spin freely if it does not try some light oil in the front and rear bearings of the motor and turn it by hand until it frees up. You may need to do this several times!! Now that it is spinning free put the heater back together and try it out. If it does not work a new motor is in your future. Hope this works out for you.
