Often the pump gets air in it and does not prime correctly. It will then only pump a little water. To fix this you may need to get rough with the machine. Slamming the reservoir onto the machine will sometimes work, The shake rattle and roll method also will have the desired affect sometimes. Some have turn the machine upside down over the sink, have slapped the sides of the machine, or even shake the machine to get the air out of the lines.
Once you do get the pump to prime properly, you can keep the pump from getting more air by making sure to fill the reservoir before it gets empty by using a pitcher to fill the tank instead of removing it and filling it.

With some K-cups, the bottom needle does not pierce the bottom of the cup if you simply place the K-cup into the holder and then close the top. Extra effort may be needed to make sure that the K-cup gets seated properly so that the water can flow through the K-cup easily. If you have water still in the K-cup when you remove it after brewing, you are having this problem.

Descale the coffee machine....
White vinegar is recommended, but it seems like lemon juice works just as well or even better. Also there are many different commercially sold products to descale coffee machines. One of these is a product called CLR which seems to do a great job. Some people have even used their denture cleaner to descale the coffee brewer. Dissolve a couple of tablets in water and place in the reservoir... then run the solution through the coffee machine to clean it.

Another common problem is that foil from the K-cup lid will get stuck in the needle that punctures the top of the K-cup. Like wise the bottom needle can also get coffee grounds or other debris stuck inside it. Scale from the descale procedure can also be a problem. To get the needles clean the best thing to use is a paper clip. Do not use a toothpick as that can break off inside and cause greater problems. Bend the paper clip so that approximately 1" is straight. Then insert the paper clip into the needle and wiggle to clear any debris. On some brewers the K-cup holder can also be removed, the bottom will twist off to reveal a nozzle that also has small holes that will plug up. Cleaning these holes may be the ticket to a great cup of coffee again.

Check to see if you have water running back into the reservoir when you are brewing a cup of coffee. If you have water bypassing, then you have a problem, there should be no water returning to the reservoir if the brewer is working properly. To stop this from happening there are a few things that you can do.

. You can hold your finger over the white tube in the top of the reservoir to place more
pressure on the water to flow through the needle and expel the debris from the tubing.

Take a can of compressed air like you would use to clean your computer and blow air through the tube(s) in the reservoir and also the needle(s) to clear dirt debris and water from the machine. This process may make a mess so be sure to have the machine is a place where the mess can be cleaned up easily. Some have even used a large tire type air compressor out of desperation, and report that it does work. I would use great care with this method and shoot the air in very short bursts.

Same here. (I have the Mini Plus B31) Called Keurig and these are the steps they walked me through. Not sure which part actually fixed the problem, but it worked.

1. Turn off machine. Using a paperclip clean out the holes in the needles (3 in the top, one in the bottom of the k-cup holder).

2. If water is inside the heating core (assuming it is as nothing happened when you tried to brew), with the machine turned off, press and hold the brew button. After 5 seconds the pump will kick on and discharge the water. Make sure you have a cup in place to catch the water.

3. Dispose of that water.

4. Unplug the machine.

5. Wait 5 seconds.

6. Plug machine back in.

7. Turn on.

8. Run empty cycle without a k-cup and only use the minimum amount of water (6 oz).

9. Dispose of that water after it brews (hopefully).
If still nothing is happening, call Keurig.

10. Brew your coffee, tea, choco, etc.

Note: was told by Keurig rep that whenever you use hot chocolate, to run an empty rinse cycle afterwards before brewing another cup. This will help prevent any choco from going up inside the machine and possibily blocking the water flow.

Hope it works! Mine did after following these instructions. The rep also wanted me to measure the amount of water that came out afterwards. Not sure what the next step would be because my call got dropped, but the machine works. Sipping on a cup now...

More costly than a new unit.

Here's what I discovered about my Keurig B60: The water reservoir has a valve in a nipple on the bottom that slides into a clear plastic fitting within the base of the unit. Water from the reservoir is supposed to pass through the fitting and into the pump, which is also in the base. Over time, hard water deposits can build up on the nipple or the mating fitting (or both) such that a good seal is not made when the reservoir is in place and water slowly leaks out the bottom. To fix this, I removed the five screws on the bottom of the Keurig and then removed the two screws which hold the fitting in place. I gently cleaned both the clear plastic fitting and the nipple in the bottom of the reservoir with white vinegar. After rinsing both with clean water and drying both, I applied a small amount of silicon faucet grease (available at any hardware store) to both parts. I haven't had any more leaks since, although I assume I will have to repeat this operation periodically.

make sure you have the cup size set appropriately, you may have it on a larger cup than the one your filling

The solder joint in the tubing. Personally, I don't see a risk but the environmentalists see a risk in any lead at all. The plumbing in my house has ALL lead soldered joints. Now, plumbers are not allowed to use lead type solder. If the water just passes over the lead, there is absolutely minimal chance of problems. Keeping wine in a lead crystal decantor will also leech lead into the drink but, you don't hear all the hype about that. It's all about making the earth green. Toy wagons are being recalled because of lead in the paint. I don't know of ANY kids who ever ATE their wagon.

First, I'm not a Keurig technician. Since your machine seems to be calcified then the vibration pump is probably clogged or at least the vibration one way valve is stuck open. I DO NOT recommend De-scaling as it causes more problems if the wrong chemicals are used and gets stuck in the machine. Most warranties are voided unless recommended or performed by the MFR. (most just replace the machine, which hints to how hard it is to De-scale a machine.) - Water not getting to machine or not sensing that the water tank is already filled. * There usually some type of float near to middle of the water tank. It's usually white or colored plastic. This 'float' needs to move freely up-down to 'sense' the filled tank. clean the tank and shake it -note the movement of this float. It will need further cleaning if it's stuck (or you will have to replace tank if it's crudded up). * Re-install tank and fill with filtered water. Turn machine off, count to 15 then turn on again. This usually turns on pump to add water to inner tank. If this does not happen then there is a CPU problem. If it does hums for 5-10 seconds then goes off but no heating then the pump may have an air bubble in line. Try the turn off and on method several times (up to 5) to get the water flowing. If it's still not working then there is a clog in the pump and will need service and/or replacement. * Did you change water source? Since this is a table top machine in which you fill the water tank. Try to use filtered (bottled ok) water. Do Not use Distilled or 100% pure water as this type of water will eat out the metals from your machine! Some places use a water softener as it tends to be better for the machine long term (years). * Still got problems? Check with vendor or MFR for service or replacement. Most machines of this type do not have serviceable parts or adjustments. * Final, Okay, sounds like you opened (voided warranty) the machine already. I don't recommend any repairs on these table models as it's preferred to exchange them during the warranty period. ****************************************************************** *** But if you must tear this particular unit apart then do so very carefully *** At your own Risk! *** The following is just information: ****************************************************************** The pump is usually a round cylinder about 1-2 inches round. There is a white nylon tube at one end and another tube out the back which may or may not have a 90 degree elbow fitting. Your looking at the longer end. Set a dry tower and remove the longer white end. There may be clips or screws that holds it together. Be aware of how the pieces come apart and what order. (there may be videos of this on youtube but I haven't checked. Maybe I will do one later.) Expect a small pen size spring (same as an old ball point pen but shorter) and a very tiny metal or nylon ball or bullet shaped piece. Make sure these are cleaned of calcium and sand. Puff out any bits of crud or use a pipe cleaner. Make sure everything is clean. The plunger can be removed and checked but make sure you put it back the same way. This is very TEDIOUS and a lot of labor. This is why it's better to just replace the whole unit. You have already spent an hour just to get to this point. Clean and re-assemble everything. Put back together and refill tank with water. Power up and test. * Still not working? Junk it. (Keep the pot and cups) Look for a more heavy duty unit as it seams your a heavy coffee drinker and could use a semi pro machine. "Hey, Look at my cool Espresso Machine! Cappuccino anyone?" looking for fuses will not solve the problem triggering the reset button is an indication of over load current and that is a short take it to an appliance repair shop for repair or junk it
