Keurig Special Edition B60 Coffee Maker - Page 4 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
New Keurig B60 stopped working!
I had the same issue. I now believe that there was some "vapor lock" type issue. Mine would say the same thing, and i could hear the pump running, but the water level was not changing in the reservoir. I unplugged it, removed the reservoir, let it cool, then tipped it on its back for a few minutes, then on each side. Truthfully I was trying to see if there was some kink in the tubing. Couldn't find a problem, so set it back up and it runs great again.
Can not prime keurig b60, what to do
I had a prime issue with mine, I cant give you detailed mechanical instructions for a fix, but I can tell you the steps (you've probably figured out by now) I used to get my cup of coffee. It usually worked eventually.1. try unplugging the unit from the wall, then plugging it back in and trying again.2. take the water container off and dump water out. Then shake it and slap it around a bit (not sure if that is helpful or just therapeutic), and fill it up with water (mine responds better to bottled water, but that gets expensive), then put it back on the unit.3. Make sure the back of the water tank is pushed back so it if flush with the unit.4. Repeat steps as many times as necessary. Usually it works at some point.
Is prime the same as descale
I knew the paperclip trick, I tried the air shot to reverse the flow of water. After running Vinegar and water through and letting sit overnight. I tried the air blast then make a cup, another blast X 4....though I get a good flow through the K-cup area, I still only get 2/3 cup of water.
Keurig won't make coffee
First try and get it primed. If this is not your problem please let me know. Some times it needs to be descaled. But first try this below.Hello, this is common. The pumps on these machines are not real good pressure. Sometimes you have to help it prime for the pump to work.So one very good way to solve the problem is to turn the machine on and lift the water reservoir up just a couple of inches and then jam it back in place fast and hard. With this way is like it injects just enough pressure into the system to open the check valve and when the motor pump will run you will realize that immediately water will passing through from reservoir to brewer tank. This procedure has to be done often between cups. From what we seen in internet their hundreds about the same problem but we have not see any serious response about it From Keurings customer service yet.One other important and related problem frequently reported is the irregulars doses of coffee like HALF-FILLED CUPS of coffee e.t.aThis must be redesign from Keuring factory since there is not much we can do about it to solve once for all even if they will replace your machine with a new one you will have the same problem in few weeks. And definitely this not a problem due your Electricity in your area or due to hard water. However hard water areas will face bigger and more intensive the above problem so one more suggestion is to descaling the machine every week this will help a lot. If you find the above helpful please remember to vote for it . Thanks Mike
My Keurig B60 will not power on, worked fine this
The most common
problem is this category is the no power, or Keurig not
turning on, problem. When this happens it is usually because of
the failure of the transformer inside the machine. The low
voltage transformer is located underneath one of the solenoid
valve in most of the machines. The hoses to this valve and/or the
valve will leak a bit and drop water down onto the transformer.
Electrical components and water do not play well together. The
transformer will soon go bad when it gets water on it. For that
matter, many brewing problems are caused by the air pump
getting wet from the same leaking point also. The air pump can
sometimes be fixed, but the transformer is not even available to be
bought as a replacement part, and there is no fixing them.
There are 3 buttons to brew with and you get
just plug it out from the wall current for about half day so that the coffee maker can reset itself then plug it in back.if that does not work that means the timing transistor is faulty.you will have to have it repaired.good luck.
