Yes, the C-clip holds the shaft for the paddle in place. I think the only relevant replacement part is the entire pan. Expensive!

I just purchased this 2 days ago and started to use it. I noticed the bread pan would wobble and was noisy during the kneading cycle. On the second use the paddle came off during the kneading cycle. Being a service technician all my life, I started to analyze the problem. I was previously surprised how loose the bread pan fitted into the bread maker and suspected there should be something to support the pan and hold it in place. I could not see anything obvious, but after looking carefully I noticed spring clips on the bottom of the bread pan, and also mating spring clips in the bottom of the bread maker. If I pushed the bread pan down fairly hard into the bread maker the bread pan would snap firmly in place. This stopped the wobbling during the kneading cycle and the paddle coming off. I could not find anywhere in the manual where it explained the bread pan must be pushed firmly down into place until it snaps in. The manufacturer should explain this to their customers on their website.

Replace the recipes that call for water with milk. Your bread will be softer and much lighter crust and will be healthier too. Be sure of course to choose light crust.

Remove bucket. With pliers bend brackets on side to perfect 45 degree angle. Pop bucket back into place. Now it will work fine. It is a poor design and you will have to do this about every 15 to 20 loaves.

Probably less expensive to just buy a used one and canabolize it (or pitch your current one and use the Ebay one). Anyway, there's one just like your on Ebay right now going for $21 (new).

Hi, The sealed bearing located on the bottom of the bread pan has failed. This bearing is sealed with lubricant to allow the paddle shaft to spin easily. The black stain you see is the lubricating grease. You need a new bread pan. Hank

Let's start with your flour. Pleas advise if you are using "all purpose flour", or "bread flour" in your recipes?

Don't try this unless you know what you're doing. But, if all else fails, give it a shot. I tried the fixya solutions, but none of them worked. Since I still had power to the light when I opened the lid, I assumed it was a problem with the keypad microprocessor. With the breadmaker plugged in, remove the ribbon cable connector connected to the PCB board. This will short the pins leading to the keypad. You might have to touch the connector to the pins on the circuit board a few times to make the microprocessor go "wacko" and reset itself. Once you hear the beep, the display should be working. If the convection fan or motor starts running while trying to get the display to work again just hit the reset on the keypad and choose any cycle and hit the start button. It may take 30 seconds or so for the machine to reset itself to normal operation. If anyone knows which pins to short out, I can solder in a reset button, so if this ever happens again I won't have to open the control panel. Or maybe the keypad needs to be properly grounded.

The only way to get a drive shaft for the TR2500BC is to purchase a new bread pan. http://breadmakerspares.com/item/bread-pans/tr2500bc-breadman-ultimate-plu/lid=31384668
