I cant take the car seat off the frame

i have the maxi cosi car seat and had the same problem. try this: reach behind the circular attachments that bind the car seat to the stroller and feel around for a small button. i couldn't see back there but could feel it. you have to click this and remove on each side. a little bit of a pain because you probably can't click both buttons and pull up all at once, so for me one side kept slipping back to the engaged position, but eventually i got it. best of luck.

Tyres keep deflating, cannot pump them up any

  1. pump not connetced properly (check, or use another, eg bike Pump),
  2. you have a puncture (fix it with a Bike repair kit) or
  3. the valve is buggered (probably a new inner tube.
if none of the above makes sense, go an fill up car with petrol and flutter your eyelashes at the guy who works there... he'll be able to tell you which is most likely cause.

Can't open n folder my quinny Zapp

Hello. Since I'm from Norway, there might be some strange words, translation and sentences here...

First remove the hood.

Look at the inside of the push button units (not literally inside, but from the inside of the stroller), the sides that face each other. There are two screws inside each push button unit, which you should see only the ends of. They are black as everything else, and difficult to spot. One of the screws are slightly hidden by the hood clip. On one of the units, one screw is propably missing. It has unscrewed itself and landed inside the unit - jamming the push button.

Use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the button. It is very easy.

Then you have to remove the bolt, which I don't know the name of. Some sort of nail that bolts the unit together. Either drill (use caution) or just destroy it with a pair of pliers from the button side. After some minutes you can hammer it out into the stroller's seat. The unit is free, and you can pull it apart. Look for the screw inside, and fit it where it belongs. Use some glue to make it stick forever.

Click everything in place and use a suitable screw and M6 nut to temporarily hold everything together. Test it with the push button - it will work perfectly. Get hold of a nail gun or whatever it's called and close the case.

You can't get the hood on without the proper nail. I still haven't gotten this far...

Morten.

How do i get the seat off my zapp so i can put the car seat on?

Hi Pimms. I struggled with this too. At the bottom of the stroller you'll be able to move the material that is attached to the bottom of the frame. It slides out if you are forceful enough. Then you'll see if you look at the back of the pram four tabs with domino numbers on them. These are attached to plastic bits that fit into the frame - when pulled out - you can pull off the stroller seat - with much pulling! Good luck!

My buggy is a quinny zapp i dont know how to fold

First make sure the brake is on. There are two round Grey buttons, one on either side of the frame (about halfway down) they should have a small red triangular numbered sticker above them (1 & 2) Stand behind the pushchair where the handles are and press the left one in (that's number 1) and gently fold the frame a bit but not too much! Do the same with the right one (number 2) when the frame starts to fold in bend the bar down that sits between the handles and place your foot on the Grey pedal located at the bottom of the frame in between the brakes (number 3) and slide it towards the front of the pushchair, as you do this the whole frame should close up.

Broken Top Bar?

If it is over 2 years old or you are unable to find proof of purchase, you can still send the Zapp to the engineers for inspection and repair work which would be chargeable at £30 and you would also need to make arrangements and cover costs for a courier service to get the unit to the engineers, who are based in Thetford, Norfolk. If you would like to book it in for repair please contact the customer service department on 01842 763 281 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30.

Alternatively if you have access to a pop rivet gun you can secure the hand grip connection bar yourself. In this case you can place an order for a replacement hand grip connection bar from the customer service department which are £10 with £3.99 p+p.

Many Thanks,

How do you fold down

the steps are numbered 123 on the stroller. press the big round button numbered 1 on the right side (i think), which is located where the handle meets the main part of the stroller. Press the big round button numbered 2 on the other side. After you press button 2, you should be able to fold the handles (both of them together) forward, swinging the handlebars out in an arc until they're nearly touching the front wheel, on the ground. Now, step 3 is the difficult one--you've got to release the catch numbered 3 (underneath the seat, directly beneath where the baby's bottom goes) and then slide the ring forward, along the rod underneath the seat, toward the front wheel. If you can get it going, the rest will happen very smoothly, and the stroller will fold very compactly. It's difficult to describe, but once you get it, it's a cinch after a little practice. Good luck!
