Easy peasy! Just fixed the same problem! Unplug machine..Take lid off machine.. Look behind program selected and unplug from circuit board (don't be scared! Try and unclick from inside the select know with small screwdriver then spray some contact cleaner in front hole and over the contacts to circuit board. It's ok.. Disolves and dries really quick.... I used the wd40 one me.. NOW NORMAL WD40!!) then put know back on and give it a good turn in both directions. Put all back together and problem should no longer exist.

Error code E01 indicates a defective door latch or associated wiring or connection to control board.

Most likely is the lid lock. Logic board will not allow spin to take place if the lid is not locked.
