Hoover Nextra HNWF 3135 Front Load All-in-One Washer / Dryer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Rocks in machine
Does the drum seem to be loose? If it is old/has been used a lot it might be the bearings holding the drum that are defect. try spinning the drum by hand and see if it makes grinding noises from where the drum is conected to the back.
Nextra HNWF 3135 doesn't work hole cycle,
Ok hot water being still there and not draining is a clog in your drain line or pump issue. I have not yet brought up the schematic to your unit but on some units there is a clean out filter located down the bottom in which you would clean out the filter careful water does come out when you unscrew the filter on other models that do not have the filter door you would remove the lower panel on the front which would give you access to the pump and the drain lines as well even though if you do find items in the filter you still need to disconnect the drain lines going to and leaving from the pump to assure that nothing is blocking or clogging the flow of water. Im glad you replyed about the hot water still being on the inside definite clog in the drain line or pump or filter issue. If you have any further questions message me back. I await your reply ThanksRick
My hoover model number is
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Because you say the water remains I suspect the draining function is malfunctioning so follow my general guidance notes below. At the bottom is the guidance for obtaining a manual ;-0)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Manual-
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Hi, the machine keeps filling itself with water
If your machine is off and even unplugged then it could only be the valve not shutting off. If your intake hose filter screens are bad or not there the valve can get a flake of rust or mineral deposit from your pipes lodged in it causing it not to shut completely. Unplug the machine from the wall and if it is still flowing then you know there is no electrical circuit failure causing it to stay open. I have on occasion removed the valve, back flushed it and carefully opened the valve manually with a soft tipped tool while rinsing it out with success. If you do remove the valve take note of the wire connections and make certain the washer is unplugged before attempting the repair.
Machine doesn't drain HNWF3135
Check your belt in the rear of the machine, it has either slipped off, or is broken. It must go around the pulley of the drain pump in order to pump the liquid out of the washer.
Not completing cycle
if your waste pipe is attached to the sinks waste you might find the wastepipe connection blanked off, simply unscrew and remove blank. Or your water supply maybe off.
Hoover Ultracare 1600 - Dryer not working
Check the duct work see if it is clogged up with lint. Everything you read tells you to clean it out, but how many of us do it? I just had the same problem with my duet dryer and when I went under the house to check, the duct was clogged up with lint and works like a charm now.
3135 Dryer Broke
If you remove the top there is a thermal fuse on the dryer heater duct, it appears this has blown, on some versions this is resettable, you will see a small button on a thermostat, push it in if it makes a suttle clip it has reset.

How to use the dryer?
This should be simple and will not need a user manual. For silk, polyester, nylon, wool and delicate fabrics that dryer setting knob should be set to "Less Dry" or similar settings and then press on the start knob. For cotton, use the "More Dry" Setting.
Now, these settings may vary between models. I am more familiar with the Whirlpool ones.
Gook luck.
Hoover nextra 5+5 washer dryer HNWF 3135 heating broken
it is seperate heaters for wash and dry and unlikely to be connected with blocked filter tho you should check filter regularly. take top off. on manifold running across top you will see stats. one of these at least is resettable by presssing a small knob in middle and if it has gone you will hear a slight click. then check dryer manifole for build up of lint as pooir air flow can cause stat to pop.
for wash heating, start by checking continuity of the wash heater located at the bottom of the tub
Re: rocks in machine
could well be bearings or you may have a foreign object stuck between drum and tub. if bearings, it is not an easy job and unless experienced you might be better having it done for you. recommend you get a quote first
Washing coming out REALLY HOT even after cool spin
This might be too easy but you have definetly check that the pipes are the right way around that connect your washer or you have not accidently connected the washer to the hot water, the 3135 only has 1 connection that shuld only have cold water put into it. This would also effect it drying capability.
My Hoover H dish wont start when i touch the start buttons i have 3 flashing lights
When you encounter flashing lights on your Hoover H dishwasher and the appliance is not responding as expected, it indicates that there might be a problem with the dishwasher's operation. The specific meaning of the flashing lights can vary based on the dishwasher model and its error code system. However, here are some general troubleshooting steps you can take:
- Check the Manual: Refer to your dishwasher's user manual or guide. Look for a section that explains the meaning of the flashing lights and any corresponding error codes. The manual may provide guidance on what steps to take to resolve the issue.
- Power Reset: Turn off the dishwasher and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes reset the control board and resolve minor glitches.
- Check for Door Lock Issue: Some dishwashers have a safety feature that prevents them from starting if the door is not closed properly or the door latch is faulty. Make sure the door is securely closed and the latch is functioning correctly.
- Check Water Supply: Ensure that the water supply to the dishwasher is turned on and there are no kinks or blockages in the water inlet hose.
- Inspect Drainage: Check the dishwasher's drainage system for any clogs or obstructions. A blocked drain can prevent the dishwasher from starting.
- Cancel Any Previous Cycles: If there was a previous cycle that was interrupted or not completed, try canceling that cycle and then select a new cycle to see if the dishwasher starts.
- Child Lock: Some dishwashers have a child lock feature that can prevent the appliance from starting. Check if your dishwasher has this feature and make sure it's not activated.
- Error Codes: If your dishwasher has an error code display, note down the specific error code that corresponds to the flashing lights. Look up the error code in your manual or online to understand what the issue might be.
- Professional Service: If none of the above steps resolve the issue and your dishwasher is still not responding, it's advisable to contact Hoover customer support or a professional appliance technician for further assistance. They can diagnose and repair any more complex issues that might be affecting your dishwasher.
Remember to always prioritize safety when working with electrical appliances. If you're unsure about any step, it's best to seek professional help.
My hoover dynamic washer is not showing an error code but all the lights are flashing and beeping all the time.
If your Hoover Dynamic washer is not displaying any specific error code but all the lights are flashing and it's beeping continuously, there might be an issue with the control panel or a more general system malfunction. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
- Power Cycle the Washer: Turn off the washer and unplug it from the power outlet. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. Sometimes, this simple reset can resolve minor electronic glitches.
- Check for Overloaded Washer: If the washer is overloaded with clothes, it can cause the control panel to act abnormally. Try running a smaller load and see if the flashing lights and beeping stop.
- Inspect the Water Supply: Ensure that the water supply to the washer is adequate and not restricted. Low water pressure or a clogged water inlet can cause unusual behavior in the washer.
- Check the Drainage: Make sure the drainage hose is not clogged or kinked. A blocked drainage system can lead to improper functioning of the washer.
- Examine the Door Lock: If the door lock is not engaging properly, the washer might not start or show unusual behavior. Check if the door is securely closed and the lock mechanism is functioning correctly.
- Check for Leaks: Look for any leaks around the washer. Water leakage can trigger safety features, leading to flashing lights and beeping.
- Inspect the Control Panel: Examine the control panel for any physical damage, moisture, or dirt accumulation. Clean the panel gently and make sure all buttons and knobs are functioning correctly.
- Software Glitch: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that the washer's control board has encountered a software glitch. In this case, you may need to contact Hoover customer support or a professional appliance repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem.
How do i remove the program selector knob from a hoover washing machine DYN9164DPG
To remove the program selector knob from a Hoover washing machine DYN9164DPG, please follow these steps:
- Unplug the washing machine from the power source.
- Locate the small metal tab located underneath the program selector knob.
- Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry up the metal tab.
- Pull the program selector knob off the machine.
The metal tab acts as a locking mechanism to keep the knob in place, so be sure to pull the knob straight off the machine once the tab has been released. If you encounter any resistance, double-check that the metal tab is fully released before attempting to pull the knob off again. Once removed, you should be able to access and replace the selector switch.
