Fridge Freezer E402B not functioning properly.Solid red error light, with green light flashing up and dwn when push the = button. No air circulation to fridge, compressor seems to continious, also fridge

Natasha try this: turn off the fridge's settings. pull the power cord from the wall outlet open the doors and keep them so for a few hours. before these, take out the most perishable and keep in cool place. after a few hours you may see a puddle of water under the fridge. clean the water and vaccum the fridge underneath and behind. now reconnect power and set at recommended level. goodluck!

E402b freezing food

there is a little door between the freezer and the fresh food usually when that happens the motor on that door is bad and sticks open and allows the fresh food to get to cold since your freezer actually cools the fresh food side, sorry i cant tell you where it is on yours since they are are different, it will be where the cold air blows in the fresh food side and the part is not usually expensive and fairly easy to replace.

Temperature sensors

I have an E402 fridge (403 litre model with freezer on bottom) . I just dismantled the freezer back wall due to a bad defroster element and noticed that on the back wall of the freezer is a small raised "cavity" or "slot" that the black thermostat fits into nicely. In my fridge, it is above the Collins coil and a bit to the right of centre(closer to the wire entry hole). Hope this helps
