Squealing Fisher Paykel Dryer DE05-US2

dryer's have a long belt that runs around the drum. a common culprit is an idler pulley on the belt tensioner. you can take off the front of the dryer and oil it for a temp fix. it will probably need to be replaced

Continual squealing when dryer is

Get a new repairman, pretty sure there is a drive belt. The squealing may be caused by bad rollers. The drum rides on rollers, they look like rollerblade wheels. If one of those has gone bad, it will cause the squealing noise.

Puddles of water forming under the unit

clean out the dryer and the vent line, you need to clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into, vac out the inside where the motor is and if the vent line is long blow it out with a leaf blower, also check the outside vent to make sure nothing is blocking it.the hot moist air isn't blowing outside,it's stuck in the dryer and vent line, all a dryer does is remove the moisture out of the clothes by moving air,if the air can't move correctly themoisture has to go somewhere.let me know how you make out, also if it's gas do this once a year, electric once every two years so you don't have a fire

Dryer won't heat

Check for tripped twin breakers in the house electrical panel--push off, then on. If no help, then likely burned out heater element or open thermostat that controls the heater. These parts are usually behind the main drum and require removal of the drum to access. Hope this helps!

Stops drying after short time

I'm no expert. In fact I was having the same issue that your are with the dryer cutting off after running a short time and after googling and coming across your post I thought maybe I had a similar issue. Not so much that I needed a hard line but that the vent duct was clogged and so the dryer built up too much heat. I undid the vent hose and looked into the vent pipe and sure enough it was full of old lint. I was able to go under my house and undo the vent pipe and **** it out with a Webster cobweb brush. Not real easy but not to difficult either. The dryer seems to me much happier now.

When ever in question use sears.com for parts diagrams, even if they don't sell the unit they sell the parts and carry the diagrams.
I don't know if this will help.
