ENERGY SAver is stuck on

I know it's an older post, but you still may be waiting an answer:
What is probably happening is Your power board is failing to maintain power enough to run the bulbs and the rest.
That is why it takes long to start up and why it goes into sleep mode.
Does the power button stay lit (getting signal) or turn to amber (sleep mode) or does it flash.

The color is not right on monitor missing red

Try disconnecting the monitor from your computer and checking the pins in the connector to see if any of them are bent or flat. If they are, try to straighten them if possible and that may resolve your problem. Otherwise try resetting your monitor, if it has it as an option in it's configuration menu to do so.

Hi.
Sounds like the power-inverter board is due for an overhaul.
Eventually it won't turn on at all.
I do redo many of these.

How to remove outer case on Pl926wbi

Remove the four bezel screws on the bottom edge of the monitor. Gently pry up where you removed the screws and slide the bezel off towards the top of the monitor. The six mounting screws for the lcd panel will be visible. Remove them and inplug the lcd cables and set it aside. You now have access to the main circuits.

Deguss

You can not degauss a LCD monitor.

Degaussing is to reallign the magnetic field on a CRT. An lcd has no such field.

http://club.cdfreaks.com/f7/lcd-19-inches-monitor-always-blurred-95364/

The last time I heard of someone wanting a Degauss for an LCD, it was because there kid took a magnet to there LCD monitor. This will destroy the TFT pixels.
