I am NOT an expert on this problem as I have never changed languages. Language is typically in the TOOLS menu (Wrench) It you get to settings and English is greyed out then I am stuck. If you have many settings you want to keep please ignore what I say here. One workaround that MAY work is reset to factory settings. It could be one of your settings that keeps language setting greyed out. A reset makes the camera like you just purchased it new.

If you can read the SD card with your computer, copy (backup) all images on the card to your computer. Make sure you saved ALL images. Then put the card back in the camera and FORMAT it. It is in the TOOL MENU that looks like a WRENCH.

Inspect your SD card carefully. Some SD cards come with a write-protect lock switch on the side of the card. When looking at an SD card from the top there is one required notch on the right side (the side with the diagonal notched corner) and on the left side there is usually a switch. This is the write-protect switch. When this write-protect switch is in the down position (away from the end that is inserted) then it is write protected and read-only. When the switch is in the up position it is write enabled.

The 5200 was designed primarily as a still camera, storing images (and videos) to memory. It was not designed to function as a webcam, streaming live videos to another device.

Sorry, the 5200 is limited to a three-second or ten-second delay with the self-timer, and there is no provision for remotely triggering the camera.

Normaly the lens would go in, as soon as the battery runs low.Perhaps you should wait till you unpluged the camera.Try to charge the battery in the external charger. Then after replacing the battery everything should work fine.
