How do I set my tablet to put everything on my mico card?

Not all applications can be transferred to micro card. To know and transfer a particular application
1) go to settings then to application manager then
2) select the application you wish to transfer. If that can be transfer it will show in application info to tranfer to sd card.
3) click transfer to sd card.

When I turn it off - it goes back to the original atatus - only thing saved is anything Google - but on the computer, mostly.

It sounds to me like the internal memory petition has gone bad. When this happens it will retain no changes and boots up like it was when new every time it's turned off. Any changes are only retained if you put it to sleep and keep it charged. If the memory partition for apps has gone bad it will no longer be able to download or update apps from the Store and you will be stuck with the original apps and that is all unless you can managed to download some apps to an external SD card in the slot (if it has one). You can tell if your memory partition has gone bad by using Settings > Storage and observe the top bar graph. if it's green all the way across and shows 0.00 bytes of storage then the internal SD card memory partition is gone or the memory is defective. Even so, you should still be able to synch using Google to do so. But, never turn it off again or you will be back to square one again and will have to do everything over and over and over. I have a Nobis NBO9 that has this same problem. They fixed it once but it went bad again two weeks later. And, they balked at fixing it a second time so I got ripped off. I suspect there is a lot of defective internal SD memory cards in circulation from the reports I see as I research these failures.

Usb port is pushed inside nextbook, how do I take

Mine has done exactly the same thing, and its only about a month old. I'm not very happy AT ALL with MY next book nx785qc. And also, it doesn't recognize it SD storage area. Its like the external storage isn't even there. But the charging port, that's the most aggravating thing about it. Seems to me, that if they can make a product that can send a signal into outer space, get into from a satellite, and then the signal can return all the way back to earth, to your phone, and do this within a matter of a couple of seconds.... then surely they could figure out how to charge the damn thing, or, to make a charging port that will stay connected to the cable, and\or make a battery that would work in it without it having to CONSTANTLY be plugged in to a charger.... THAT DON'T WORK!

I was changing the font on google play books and hit a background or something. Now I have a black screen on all books. Can't get regular screen back.

Triple tap anywhere on the page and the brightness control should show. Uncheck auto if it's checked and move the slider to the right.

How do I use my SD card? My programs will not update saying there is not enough room.

If you go into where your apps and files are listed you should have a choice to be able to move them to the SD card rather than using the tablets memory.

This may be in the " Settings " area which looks like a Cog on most android apps.

How to sync tablet with laptop

You are probably talking about synching music, photos, etc and not operating system apps which cannot be synched. You will need your USB cable to connect the Android to your laptop's USB -2 port. You might also need drivers (software that communicates between devices) but probably not as most Androids automatically transfer those that are needed when the USB cable is plugged in for the first time. Then you can use your laptop's file manager to transfer, copy, arrange, etc. files and folders from your laptop to your Android. If it has an external SD card in a slot it's best to put all your music, pictures, videos there as if you copy them to the internal device storage you could fill it up fast. It's sort of a manual way to synch. Unless you can find some software to do it automatically, this is your only real option but it it's not hard at all as long as you know how to use your laptop's file manager.

My Premium 8 Nextbook tablet froze so I tried using the reset button in the back, that didnt work so I tried the hold the power button and volume at the same time method and that didnt work either...

Something must have happened during the last update. Either it lost connection or crashed before the process was complete. This unfortunately is called 'a brick' or 'bricked'. You will have to find a way to restore the OS to the tablet. It may need a complete wipe and reinstallation. My suggestion would be to find a local PC tech in the area that services tablets. Or you may have to contact the manufacturer and create a service ticket.
