Almost everyone knows who makes the best..... Not that any brand is perfect. But people still persist in buying the cheapest. I know this doesn't help your current predicament... but you have to think before you buy! I've had 3 iPads now and none have had anything like what your describing. NOTE: This procedure will reset your device. Any changes you have made since you last backed up your device will likely be lost. To Reset you Nextbook:

• Hold power button and volume down until a menu appears.

• Using the volume buttons, select Wipe Factory settings" (or something to that effect..may vary depending on your model)

• There will then be a list of no`s and 1 yes. Using the volume buttons select Yes. Then select reboot.

Once rebooted, follow the instructions to reconfigure and then restore your apps from backup. These instructions were gleaned from various articles found on the internet. Hope this help.

You're pretty much stuck with the factory installed apps unless you root the tablet. That's something you might want to avoid as it can get you into serious problems unless you know what you're doing. About the best you can do is go into apps and see if any have a disable option. That won't free any space, it will just make them invisible.

This can be due to too little RAM left for the video to play smoothly. Use Task Manager software to kill all unclosed applications. Alternatively, you can use Settings, Apps and manually stop every unwanted application in the Running list.

The back of the next book is sealed its not supposed to be oppend if you open it the back will not stay on unless you glue it back on

Morning Emily, A couple of questions, then a couple of ideas.

1. Are you using the charger that came with the tablet or are you using a universal charger?
2. Do you leave the tablet on the charger a lot of the time or do you only charge it when it gets very low on charge?

Often devices like these need to be drained periodically so that your battery does not develop a shallow cycle. Shallow cycle can often occur whenever a device is charged often before it actually gets down to a low percentage of this battery capacity. If you have been typically keeping it charged without letting it drain I would suggest leaving it on and letting it drain fully and then try to recharge again. If you have not been doing constant charges as described above, then it sounds to me like either you have a bad charger or there something wrong with the battery in your device. I'm going to provide a link to a Page on the next book site so that you can see some of the information related to your device. I think the biggest questions to be asked are, a) is the charger that you're using putting out sufficient power to charge the battery properly, or b) is the battery in your unit defective. These questions can probably be best answered through the store which you purchased it, such as a Best Buy or wherever it is that you got it. They should be able to analyze the output of the charger to see if it's correct. If it is correct and again if you've not been doing the shallow cycling then that would indicate a problem with the battery. I'm including some links below that might be helpful for you. Go into the settings, go to display and make sure the Auto-rotate screen button is checked off. I hope this fixes this issue for you.

In your Settings menu .
(Probably looks like a large cog ) .
Look for Screen and it should be a tick box for it to rotate when moved.

if it is asking for number lock and brand new usual 4 zero's will unlock it do you have the manual it should tell you exactly how to unlock it if not there is always manual on the manufactory web site.

You connect your Nextbook to YOUR WiFI HOME NETWORK (not the Internet) FROM THE NEXTBOOK, not from the laptop. On your Nextbook, go to Settings then Wi-Fi. If your Nextbook is already connected to your WiFi home network you will see the network's name there and you are done. If it is not connected, a list of available WiFi networks appears. Tap on the name of your home network and it will connect to it. If your network is password-protected, you will be asked to enter it.

Take it to a selling or service point

Open your nextbook`s internet browser > tap bookmarks > history then you can view your device`s history

It is possibly a bug in your Rom. Please report it to the manufacture's website and if it is an android custom rom then report to the developer or Flash a more stable rom

Try a soft reset; if that fails do a hard reset. The procedure for this is probably in the manual.

It means there in no space left to download more files. Some net books come with a rather small amount of storage, and can take a much larger card . If you cant do this the only other solution is remove more programs .
