"Unable to Print 49" occurs when:
- there is a mechanical malfunction

a. Press Stop/Exit to temporarily clear the error message.
b. Press Settings.
c. Press ? or ? to select Service. Press OK.
d. Press ? or ? to select Data Transfer. Press OK.
e. Press ? or ? to select Fax Transfer. Press OK.
- If "No Data" appears, there are no faxes to transfer. Press Stop/Exit. Continue to
step 7 to transfer the Fax Journal or if done transferring skip to
Warranty and Service Options.
- If there are faxes in memory, you'll be prompted to enter a fax number. Enter the fax number, including the 1 plus the area code. Continue to
step f.

c. Press ? or ? to select Service. Press OK.
d. Press ? or ? to select Data Transfer. Press OK.
e. Press ? or ? to select Report Trans. Press OK.
f. Enter the fax number, including the 1 plus the area code.
g. Press Black Start. The Fax Journal Report will transfer to that number.
