Hi - assuming you have a replacement switch- switch off the power, disconnect hoses etc etc, remove the square panel in the rear of machine, inside left side you will see transformer (pending where you are) and the drain pump - attached to this configuration is the pressure switch. An odd setup but it works..
ND error in your Maytag Front Load washer
indicates no drain issue. To start with check the drain hose for any clogs and
try cleaning it, then check restriction in drain pump assembly or loose wire at
the pump. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
Hello,This unit will not spin if it cant drain.Check to make sure there is nothing stuck in the drain pump. you can access it from the back.Pull the hose off and check that nothing is in the pump...
Try unplugging the machine for 15 minutes and then running it through the final spin again. If this doesn't unlock the door, you probably have a bad lock, or faulty control board.
1. Unplug the washer and wait for 5-10 minutes. Safety first.
2. At the back of the machine on the top left and right sides there are 2
screws that hold
the top plate in place. Remove them.
3. Once the screws are removed put your palms on the top of the washer
and push the lid towards the back of the washer. The lid should slide
back a bit then you should be able to lift it off. Put it aside for now.
4. You should now be able to see everything inside the washer. Look
straight down from the top where the door is. On the latch side of
the door you will see wires leading to the electronic release for the
door. The manual release you're looking for sits at the very BOTTOM of
the electronic assembly. Snake your hand down past the wires and and the
bottom of the black box thing there is a single "stick with a ball at
the end" pull that DOWN while you pull the washer door open. I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_69f3cc28d95bf514
If you have already cleaned the drain pump filter and
everything else is fine then it means that the door lock gone bad and
should be replaced. Before replacing the door lock you can check for any loose broken wires from the door lock to the control board, if thats fine then the door lock should be replaced. Please check this video, it will help you in replacing the door lock assembly:
Hope this
helps...please post back for further assistance.
12002022 is a seal kit only. The outer tub replacement is the correct fix, The part number for your unit is 22002907 and crosses over to 22004465. BTW. the replacement tub includes the seal kit and for the price I usually change the spinner assy at the same time..There are two part numbers for that.. It depends on your washer series which is determined by the first 2 numbers of your serial number... Hope this helps... Bill
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Check the supply socket if you have not already done so by plugging in a kettle for instance. If no power check all of your breakers/fuses (sorry I'm English!). Does your washer have a fuse in its plug? Check that. If all OK then I'm sorry but it looks like a service call is required ;-0)
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

e3 means that the control board is detecting current going to the motor,
but the motor won't turn properly. If the error code comes up all the
time as soon as you press the power on button, then it means your
control board is bad and reading incorrectly. If it only happens during
a cycle, then you need a new motor unfortunately.
first, can you run the units diagnostics from the tech sheet located inside the unit in an envelope(should be located near the top)of the unit if so this should pinpoint your problem, then remove any and all cables especially the smaller ribbon signal cables,as moisture is a big culprit of these problems in electronically controlled washing machines (one at a time) and then clean off and inspect for moisture, corrosion, etc.and wiggle their connections carefully as you re-install them,if these don;t help, then its your interface keypad in the front, main control board,or the motor control board in the bottom near the motor thats bad and needs replacing
ND is No Drain. Check to see that the pump is running, the drain hose is NOT kinked or folded and that the filter is clean. If a garment made it into the sump it will block the pump inlet and washer with not drain.
The pump is Item 11 of this link: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5176706
You can access it from the rear access panel. First check to see that it running and then check to see that there is not any debris in the pump. Knowing your going to have to deal with a water mess when you remove hoses.... Remove the tub to pump hose and see if the the tub sump is clear. ( I use a sacrificed wire coat hanger! ) Use your finger to see if you can rotate the impeller freely. Then inspect the impeller area of the pump for any coins or debris... remove same.. re-install hoses and test. Just make sure that the pump to house drain hose is not kinked or clogged.
If the pump is not running perform a resistance check across the 2 motor connection terminals. No resistance = open pump motor winding.
The fact that the washing machine is
spinning but not drying clothes shows that there is some problem with
the outlet of water. The water outlet is blocked. You can check for the
blockage yourself. Normally threads or other waste accumulate in the
water outlet, and if possible you can remove it yourself.
Below are some troubleshooting tips that could be of help;
Remove any kinks in the drain hose. Ensure that the washer is not sitting on the hose.
Inspect the household drain. Remove clogs, if possible. Call a plumber if you cannot remove the clogs.
Check the drain and make sure there is an air gap between the hose and drain. An air gap is necessary to prevent the drain hose from siphoning water.
Clean the pump filter. Open the pump access door. Turn the pump filter counter-clockwise and remove it. Remove dirt and debris. Replace the filter and close the pump access door.
Allow the washer to cool down for two hours. If the washer overheats, it will stop the motor and cool down before restarting.
