Two thing you need to do.
1) Call your gas company where you are supplied propane and ask them to set you up and they or someone who contracts for them will help you.
So you will need to replace ALL burners including the oven.
2) Call Admiral and ask them about changing to propane and if they have the products

assuming that the worst case senario has taken place
first thing i would check is ensure i have proper voltage at the outlet, 120 from each side to ground
220 across L1-L2
the elements are the only thing on the range that uses 220v
if you know how to use a mutimeter
you can test both the elements
disconnect the range at teh breaker
take out the screws at the back wall that hold the elements in
pull out about an inch becareful they dont leave much slack on the wires
disconnect on element terminal and apply your leads your looking for continuity, your meter should beep
if not replace the element
if yes, let the element hang ensureing niether terminal touches anything, reconnect the other terminal
now turn the stove on bake if your doing the lower
turn you meter to ac voltage
you should read 220v
anything less than that, your problem is before that

try pressing and holding the clock tab on the erc for 5 secs
this will usually cause the sab to flash 3-4 times and then retrun to normal operation mode

i think have an leakage in ur unit,much better to call the tecnician coz its very dangerous for u if u not check asap.

All gaq cooktops come from the factory ready to be installed to natural gas. If the only gas available is propane the orifices have to be changed. The orifices are product specific and must be ordered for your particular stove.

That being said, if this is a new cooktop you have the answer. If this is a used cooktop and you do not know which style of orifices are installed now just contact your propane company and they will be happy to help you for free.

Is it a glass top. If it is, glass will absorb the heat. It will cool off after some time. That is normal.

contact whirlpool to get a manual but be sure to give them the model number to get the correct one / whirlpool owns maytag now ,,,,,,,,,, you can even contact a sears service company to order one since the do the maytag service.

call for service immediatly. dont ever mess with a possible gas leak. it is more than likely a slow leak at the shutoff or the safty valve. your local repair company should have a combustible gas detector. to pin point the leak.

Damaged rubber with wires showing through or the wire is being pinched can cause issues. Electrical tape is acceptable for covering damaged wires. 4. A clicking sound could be something wrong with a relay. Check for any loose connections around the main control board on your oven. The click you hear is a relay losing power and switching back on. If your oven has internal fuses, a wiring or component problem could have caused a fuse to blow. A blown fuse is an indication that a component has shorted or failed, and the problem will need to be corrected. Go to your electrical panel and check the circuit breakers. If one is tripped it will be in a halfway position. switch off then on. If it keeps tripping you may have to call a repair man.

First it could be leaking from the control knob when it is on . There could be a leak at the base off the burner letting out gas or on the burner line . You need to get back on to your installer or where you purchased the cook top . This basic gas fitting leak detection .
