Kyocera Mita KM-2530 Laser Printer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

I had the problem that suddenly scan to email did not work anymore. After trying different email provider and all the tips in the internet, I recognized that the time was not in sync. After correcting the time of the printer (settings -> date/time), everything worked fine again.

Delete your Driver for this multi, I use revo-uninstall a free removal tool that cleans the registry. Then download the up to date driver package and reconnect your device. Regards Sir Dana Taylor

Total equipment cleaning and replace the main charge wire

This usually means that no paper has been fed from the paper cassette or the machine was turned off when you had a paper jam.Remove the paper cassette from the machine and ensure that nothing is stopping the paper from feeding.Also look into where the machine locates in the copier to ensure that no paper is jammed behind the cassette.The paper feed rollers may need cleaning or replacing.

The front door switch or actuator is broken or the door may be warped .Have you tried putting pressure on the front cover? as this may help to indicate if the switch is faulty.

Replace the Ink tonner

CHECK THE CARTRIDGE TONER, AND IT REPLACE WITH NEW ONE.

This is a fuser error, sometimes the thermal cut out pops. Have not worked on these yet though.

Are you using an after market toner? Sometimes the non Kyocera toner causes light copies?

it is a error on your heater unit. it sometimes comes with power fluctuation. you need to enter service mode, it is a dangerous place to be if you do not know about copiers and their settings and i advice you to rather get a trained tech to do it for you.

to reset this error, do the following, but please take care and DON'T fiddle around.
type in 10871087
the machine will display U000 and be in maint. mode
type in 163 (this is the code to reset the error)
press ok/print
on some models it ask for "execute", select it if neede
the machine will now restart and be ok
** if however the machine restart and the error occure again, there is a deeper problem that need to be attended by a trained tech

the ip address for the other two computers might have changed... you need to go into the scanner via the IP address of the scanner and change the IP address for the scan to pc folders destination list to the new one for both computers... or change the ip address to the pc name... pc name may work... but IP address will...
