You a bad capacitor or two near the vertical out IC. Replace caps and resolder the vertical IC.

I would recommend just buying a universal remote. It would cost less than buying one directly from the tv's manufacturer. Good luck! Der Strom

I believe you can also get out of video mode by tapping the menu button on the front of the TV (to the left of the volume down button) then hit the volume up button. Wait 10 seconds and it should be back in the Picture Mode.

Unless you can get at closed-caption settings from the front-panel menu buttons, you're out of luck. Many TVs have this problem. Without the original remote you don't have access to all functions.

look at the back of your tv if there is an audio/video input, if no ,you need to buy a audio/video modulator.

Yes you can look on the TV there WILL be buttons somewhere on the edge, top, side, under a flap, somewhere, and from there you can select the MENU and select with the other buttons usually marked like < & > up & down also usually there is an OK button too, repeated presses step you through a menu etc.

your tv have a lose connection ,so if you know how to use soldering iron ,resolder your tv, you may solder first the power regulator ic

try opening it up and clean the remote with alcohol and soft cloth.let it dry.while drying, check the rubber buttons for breakage.then assemble.be sure your batteries are ok.

channel 3 or 4 if you are using the antenna or cable n on your tv, Vid1 or Vid 2(aux in) if you are using the rca color coded dubbing cables(yellow-white-red)

there should be an av (audio video) toggle button there somewhere.

For many brands the way to find the a/v input is to use the channels buttons and go below channel 2 or above 125.
Or you might find it in the menu if you can access it.
