Yes you can look on the TV there WILL be buttons somewhere on the edge, top, side, under a flap, somewhere, and from there you can select the MENU and select with the other buttons usually marked like < & > up & down also usually there is an OK button too, repeated presses step you through a menu etc.

your tv have a lose connection ,so if you know how to use soldering iron ,resolder your tv, you may solder first the power regulator ic

Push the "menu"button on the front of the unit. That will get you into the menus to adjust any setting, like caption, language (but that one is tricky if yours happenend to be set to a language you couldn't understand :P), brightness settings and the such are there too. The one you are looking for is "input", change THAT setting. with either volume up/down +/-, or channel up/down (+) (-). In the menu, change the "input" selection to cable or whatever you are trying to watch on the tv.

try opening it up and clean the remote with alcohol and soft cloth.let it dry.while drying, check the rubber buttons for breakage.then assemble.be sure your batteries are ok.

channel 3 or 4 if you are using the antenna or cable n on your tv, Vid1 or Vid 2(aux in) if you are using the rca color coded dubbing cables(yellow-white-red)

For many brands the way to find the a/v input is to use the channels buttons and go below channel 2 or above 125.
Or you might find it in the menu if you can access it.

these, since these are the 2 most common manufacturer of Durabrand.

you can contact dura brand on the back of the unit it should tell you where it was made and if your lucky a phone no see if you can locate a schematic there

in most cases there are not many parts aviable to repair it with there were made to sell at a price point for a retail chain

It's the Vertical circuit board, you can fix this by re soldering all the cracked or damaged joint on the board.

To find it, you can follow the Yoke cable ( 4 cable connected to the neck of CRT ), 2 of it is for Horizontal deflections, sometimes with Red color, then the other two on the side is the Vertical Deflections, follow that circuit.

use yellow red and white from the dvd players video out to the tv video input. Yellow is for video red and white Audio left and right.
