Your settings in your tv need to be moved off surround sound and set for standard dolby.

This shutting on and off~On Durabrand TV`S. If your Tv Turns Off after about 1-11/2 minutes after turning it on then you need to replace your batteries in your remote control with BRAND NEW BATTERIES or it will keep doing it. It is a real pain in the behind especially if you dont have brand new batteries handy!

have your problem fixed get a / one for all / remote controe it has the tv in that you have in the list cost little to nothing to get it go to wall mart please reply thanks p.s. rca dont have codes for that tv all for one does

You should turn mute off, or maybe its the volume setting. If none of those are right, then it's time get new speakers for the TV.

reade the booklet that came with the cable box to get the program #'s for the remote to control you tv as well

enter your menu and switch it back to tv mode

Could be as simple as a blown fuse, but if you know so little about TV's, go see a serviceman!

I would suggest to call and ask walmart for an authorized repair center for that brand. The TV still under manufacturers warranty.

the remote need to clean pcb board ..... the chroma section pcb need to resolder loose parts such as resistor, capacitor or transistor that you may see on it.....

the chroma section pcb (cnnected to the back of picture tube) parts , some of it has loosen resolder it ......

the problem is the power supply, check and replace regulator ic or even check the zener diode that trigger the regulator it maybe open or shorted......

the problem, lies on the flyback ,, on the flyback there two adjustment, the screen and focus that was writtten , adjust only the screen slowly untill screen of your tv back to normal.....fading because over saturation of voltage, adjust the screen trimmer counterclocwise....

When I saw the cost of your service for locating a remote control, my problem was completely fixed.

Sounds like a bad cap in the Y circuit.If it flashes when you tap it. You may find a cold solder joint on the yoke board or bottom of main pwb.Let me know - edcarson
