Dispose of the unit and buy a new one. If it leaked the refrigerant out you have to fix the leak before charging it again. The chances of finding the leak are slim.

Go to Home Depot find you a timer they start at $10.00, you know turn lights off/on when your not home. . They have an digital one for about $16.00 Set it up, ck your times, run it then shut it off for a while keep adjusting till you can keep the temp you want.

7 should be the coldest settiing but when adjusting allow 24 hours for the temp to adjust

May have to wait a couple of days until the defrost cycle goes thru a few times so the moisture (frost ) will clear from the coils and freezer starts cooling normally . Should be fine after that .

only if you doin't want it to work correctly. What happens is the oil will clog up the capillarys and or fill the evaporatoe up. Then its a nightmare to repair.

Yes that is the correct part number.
If a new cold control does not correct the problem. Replace the compressor start relay.

this freezer has what is called a hot wall condenser so there are no coils for you to clean. make sure that you dont put anything right on top or real close to the sides of the unit and you will be ok. thx for using fixya peyton

Temp. control should be on page 4 part number 18 Turn left for warmer or right for colder. If this don't work then the control will need replaced.

YOU WILL most likely need a new thermostat for the unit. What evere tripped the breaker apparently welded the contacts on the thermostat. take the model number and the serial number and the thermostat you have here's the part and the model number for you 21 # 216788100 Control-temperature please be sure to rate this soilution after your done. When a non-electronically controlled domestic frost free refrigerator is too cold, it's one of three things. Either the controls are set wrong, the cold control is insensitive, or in rare cases and only on certain designs, if the compressor is weak. In this case the evaporator temperature is not cold enough to operate the control properly. Also, on manual defrost or semi automatic defrost designs, sometimes it can just be that the clip that holds the controls sensing tube is loose or has come off. good luck
