Try to access your router's gui. To do this, you have to use your internet explorer.
1. Get your default gateway address first. a. press the windows key + R b. type cmd then press ok c. on the black screen type ipconfig then press enter d. look for the default gateway address 2. Type the default gateway address on the internet explorer address bar and you will be able to see your router's gui
3. Refer to the manual posted on the link below. Refer to Chapter 7 to get the WEP key of your router.
note: you need to connect wired to your router before anything else.

3. remove the led bulb that is not working (because to led sometimes breaks because of to much blinking

Is the wireless working on wire? If it does then the transmitter of the router has reached it's break point. It does happen and it's a common problem. I used to have the same issue too and the solution was to replace the router itself.

As you have mentioned that you have forgot the password for the router, so you can reset the router to factory settings by pressing the "RESET" button on the back of the router. It is a very samll button and you need a paper clip to press it.
What you need to do is, you need to take the paper clip, put it in a small hole on the back of the router and press and hold the button for atleast 30 seconds.
Once you release the button, the router will come back to its factory settings.
NOTE: If you will reset the router, all the settings on the router for Ethernet and the Wireless will be lost and the router needs to be reconfigured.

You do need to find the IP....

Using a Windows Computer.... Get to a C: Prompt...

"Start", "Run" ...in white space.... enter "cmd"

At the C: prompt..... Type "arp -a" and hit the enter key.

Above command will show all IP's on your network.

make sure your firewall permits the connection access to the network

Step 1:Connect Modem - Router - Computer (Wired)

Step 2:Open Router Setup by typing http://192.168.2.1 on the address bar of internet explorer

Step 3:On the Left click firewall

Step 4:Leave the Password blank and click submit

Step 5:Disable it and click apply changes

Step 6:Scan and connect in the Xbox/PS3/Wii

Step 7: Get the IP Address of the Xbox/PS3/Wii

Step 8:Open Router Setup in the Computer

Step 9:On the left under Firewall Click DMZ

Step 10:Enable the IP Address of the Xbox/PS3/Wii in it

Step 11:Click Apply Changes

Step 13:On the left Under Utilities click System settings

Step 14:Scroll down to the bottom

Step 15:Enable UPnP

Step 16:Click apply changes

Step 17:Test the connection ,Check the NAT

Open Router setup

At the middle Under internet settings check the WAN IP

IF it starts with 192.168. or 172.16 Then you will have to contact your internet service and ask them to bridge the modem

You Will Have to Disable the Firewall In Your modem / Router

And IF it is a router then Open The Ports

• TCP 80
• UDP 88
• UDP 3074
• TCP 3074
• UDP 53
• TCP 53

And also make sure that UPnP is Enabled

You can purchase USB adapter for cheap, maybe 16 bucks and make your computer able to connect to your router wirelessly.

First Option :

Connect your computer directly thru Router LAN Port. now
If your Computer is configured thru Static IP address then change it get IP address thru DHCP. and Re start the computer. So it will get IP address from Router and you will be able to access Router Admin thru browser.

Second Option

You will have to reset router to factory defaults. To do that ; There will be Tiny Hole or Switch on Router Back side or front side.
Using strait Paper Clip wire ; Put in that wire in that hole and give very light pressure for 5 to 10 second. Make sure that router is Power ON.

So your router will be resetted to Factory default. Now reconfigure it

Have a look in the user control panel of the router.

It's probably at 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254.

Admin username and password will be as default unless you changed them.

It's probably to do with your router firewall. Ensure that it's configured to allow traffic to and from your xbox.

This is a sign of an old router/modem. Also, try unplugging all of plugs that connect to the router/modem. Also, is this affecting you in connecting to the internet? if so, I recommend purchasing a new router/modem. They are very cheap now-a-days. :)
