I downloaded everything correctly and when i tryed to download picture into my computer it sad cannot connect to camera and the camera was plugged in corectly.
USB Cable
Try going to your local retail store and seeing if they have a cable that fits. There are a lot of diffrent kinds of USB cords. A PS3 controller charger cord can work for a ViviCam 35
Downloading to computer
Hmm perhaps the USB Cable has dust in it. Have you tried blowing into the ends to clear any dust?
Webcam.
Make sure the cam is hooked to the computer properly then go into your Vivicam files open the PCCam folder, click the Capture tab, Scroll down to Master Stream. Make sure video is checked. Hope this is helpfull.
Cant get to use as a webcam
Go into your Vivicam files and open PCCam. Click the Capture tab. Scroll down to Master Stream. Make sure Video is checked. Hope this helps. you can then test the cam to make sure it's working.

Does the camera power off?
If so I would try a newer battery if you can
find one.
Usually an old battery if it is rechargeable,
will only hold a charge long enough to power up the camera
but when recording to disk it will power down.

Hi
Maybe the disk is foe a different operating system.
sometime you can go on line and download drivers
for the newer operating system from the cameras
website.
type in the model and look for drivers for your operating system.
if this does not work explain more to me about what the program on the disk is called and what operating system you are using.

Not compatible with Windows Vista
Vista should recognize the cam as a "Mass Storage Device".
You probably don't need any lame software they ship with the
camera. USB connect and follow Vista's dialog boxes (wait
about 30 secs or less for Vista to speak up.)
