20 Most Recent Tao 89811-PB1 Digital Picture Keychain Questions & Answers

I've now returned the original keychain, bought another.... same thing. Returned, bought a third.... same thing. Never works unless plugged into a USB port. I sat on hold two times to customer support for over a half hour. They were useless, one blamed it on the store that they must have damaged it. The other blamed it on the USB cable - which didn't make sense. If it can download pictures, the cable should be fine. I played the game anyway and swapped cables - same result. These things are just pieces of crap!

Does it need a Format, this would clear all camera faults

first, you must 'charge' the unit for 3 hours.

IT IS an easy fix...uninstall the Picture Viewer that you got from the Disc they gave...Throw it away. Go to www.mscustomercare.com at the top of the keychain section, it says "download".............. THIS version works.

like anyother keychai i guess it's a micro USB or other sub usb connection , plug the usb cable into the keychain on one end and at the other end connect your computer, after few seconds of driver installation you should have a removeble drive appera at my computer , thats you keychain Hope this helps Samantha :)

It seems you may have corrupted your key chain somehow, try to reistall what ever program is runnig the pics on the key chain.

If you are able to remove the battery, that it out and reinstall it, yhat should fix your problem.

The memory chip inside it has failed -so the keychain unit is dead. You will have to buy another.

i want to upload photo on my usb lcd keychain

I can everything to work on the kep chainphoto, but can't no pictures on pc to even show up or click on??

Hi Maria, I accidentally found out how to get it to work. What the instructions do not tell you is after you move the arrow to USB Update, you want to hit the little power button on the keychain. You should hear a little tone that your computer makes when new hardware is attached. At that point, you should be able to run the program and it should recognize your device.

I suggest you modify they instructions on Step 1.

Mine does the same thing AND the pictures that were uploaded look all washed out. Pictures look horrible.
