Does the LED blink a two digit code. This set has 2 1000uf @16V capacitors on the PWB that will cause this symptom . Let me know if you need further assistance, there are also 4 1000uf @ 35V on the DM and 3 1000uf@16v on the FMT that will cause all kinds of problems if you change the PWB capacitors I would change the ones on the other boards

Depending on what light is flashing it could be a few things. If the Lamp light (the middle one) is flashing that is problem with or around the lamp. That orange or amber light is an indication that the lamp is reaching the end of its life

If it is the Temperature light (the far right one) then the TV is shutting down because it is over heating and you need to check the cooling fan.

Ours did the same, it was the colour wheel in the tv, it was stuck [from dust and smoke] and the tv wouldn't go past that problem.

Its not making it from standby to full on, power supply or something connected to the supply.

If the red light scrolls through, you need to replace the bulb. I replaced the my own bulb, and when I tried to turn on the tv the light kept scrolling. What was wrong? I DIDNT FULLY REASSEMBLE THE TV AFTER REPLACING THE BULB.

Make sure that all the screws are put back in and it will probably work if you have replaced the bulb.

call up the menu for the Guide and turn that off.

did you buythe oem generic bulb? need original manufacturer bulb will cost more but last longer and look brighter

Sounds like the same problem I had when I picked up my LG 52SZ8R. After replacing the lamp the TV ran fine.

Easiest way to see if the lamp is the problem is to take it out, and look at the peice of wire in the globe as you would an old light globe.

Hi, does it have a component video connection for the green, blue and red cable?

did you get a Philips lamp check that also make sure all the doors are close also you could trouble shoot more with discount merchant
