check for voltage at the water valve when it should be filling Try disconnecting the Water Valve outlet from the DishWasher and run the output into a bucket if all is well with the valve then remove the door panel and inspect the wires near the bottom of the door. the wires get buried in the tar like insulation causing the wires to break as the door is opened and closed. That tar like substance is one of the worst things they could of ever put into that machine causes the wires to break apart adn become brittle
Dishwasher error Code IE stops
Hi there,
Well according to the user manual, it's a water input error. You have to check for a kink or clog to the water hose running to your machine. Is there any water coming in? If yes - then it could be flow meter, If no - then it could be water safety shut off valve or connecting wires. Try disconnecting the Water Valve outlet from the Dishwasher and run the output into a bucket to check. Please check out the below link for more information -

LG dishwasher(LDF 7810WW) making noise like a four wheeler.
check to see if the load noise is coming from the motor that is attached to the sump if it is replace the motor and sump together as one unit if you buy them seperatly youll end up paying almost twice as much for the single pieces take off the bottom panel to inspect where the loud noise is coming from
Does not fill with water e1 code
1E means - Water inlet problem >Condition : Not reached to the normal water
level in spite of 10 minute water supply
Water supply problem. The inlet hose is kinked. The water pressure is to
low (10psi) Inlet valve. The inlet water valve filter is clogged. The
hall sensor. The impeller of Air guide is bound.
Remedy : Check resistance of inlet valve ( 950-1300ohms) Clean valve.
Check pressure. Replace the Air braker.
No water enter the machine
Most probable cause a faulty intake solenoid.
OK start simple and go from there.
If your have power and light etc come on then we know you are good for power. I'll assume that is OK.
If you are not getting any lights on the machine you have a power issue or a stuck float valve. That requires another explanation.
Check the shutoff for the water supply to the unit.
I will also assume there is not water collecting inside the unit.
Water
enters this machine under city water pressure. It is not pumped in. A
solenoid switch opens the system and allows the water in. The solenoid
is controlled by the timer. So those at the two things you need to
check.
When the machine starts you should hear a click as the
solenoid opens. The solenoid in located under the machine. Turn the
machine on and listen for the click. If you do not hear a click we have
a problem.
Remove the machine. It is usually screwed to the
underside of the counter. You may have to lower it by turning the feet
with a wrench. Usually you can lift it enough to get it to slide out.
With
the machine on in the start of the cycle your timer should be telling
the solenoid to open. To test put a test light or voltage meter across
the terminals of the solenoid. The solenoid is located where the water
supply line connects under the unit. If you have power the timer is
working. You would replace the solenoid. If you do not have power the
timer is faulty.
Chances are it is the solenoid. Just unscrew,
disconnect the water lines and find a replacement part. Installation is
the reverse of removal.

It leaks from under the front door
The Vent Kit behind the lower door panel, upper left corner has a rubber, solonoid stopper. Pressure from the spray arms overcome the rubber as the stopper hardens over time, allowing water to enter into the vent blower assembly. I found my replacement on Sears-Parts for $40 w/ shipping and just ordered it today. Be sure to turn off the breaker to the washer before removing the lower front door panel - 120vac in there, don't want no electricutions.
Have water leaking under unit, appears to be on
Remove the front kick panel to see if the water is draining from the front of the machine. If not, look under the machine while it is running with a flashlight following the large black rubber hose to the center of the machine.
If it is dripping there, you have a leaking water pump gasket/hose or bearing seal. Some pumps aren't always located in the center. If it is only on the drain cycle, then it is most likely a pump or drain hose. Also bear in mind that some Dishwashers connected to a garbage disposal can leak over time due to the vibrations caused by the disposal and a brittle drain hose.
LG 5811 Error Code
the most likely cause of this is the control panel circuit board has failed, to replace it remove all the screws that hold the door halves together take them apart and the panel is sandwiched between them, the part is about $200.
Door leak on built in LG dishwasher.
Check and make sure the unit is level front to back and side to side.
Check all 3 spray arms for plugged or restricted holes that may be diverting water in the wrong direction..
Dishwasher doens't clean well espeically
hi, this is a common problem and its all down to lime scale the only thing you can really try yourself is to get a small needle and poke the holes that the water comes spraying out of do this on the moving parts that spin round give all the little holes a good clean out and you may find this solves your problem but this wont be a permanent solution the only real way of doing this properly is to remove the parts that spray the water out and give it a good clean but this isnt something to do if you have never done this before as you can do more harm than good.
If you can get a long needle or even very thin piece of wire and poke it through the holes and keep working it back and forwards untill you are sure its free from limescale as this is more than likely the cause of your problem.
If it dont make any difference then the chances are it will all need striping down and all the water system cleaned removing any limescale causing the problem you have.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
Our dishwasher got to where it wasn't cleaning
Hello gadawgs621,
You may have mineral deposits or food by products in the system so I would suggest you try the following....
First, remove and clean the drain filter/screen. Reinstall. Then..wipe the interior surfaces as well as all gasketing with white vinegar. Then with an empty dishwasher... select the sanitary or hottest cycle but before starting it.. add a cup or cup and 1/2 of white vinegar in the bottom of the dishwasher and let it cycle through to the end.. That process should clean the system up and barring any equipment problems, it should work like new.
Hope that helps you...
-keep getting error message LE -doesn't clean
Same problem as mine and unforutunety fix was a replacement motor which drives pump. Bearings were shot in motor. Lots of people have this problem. If you are good at repair you can buy motor on ebay for $60. Impeller will have to be removed inside unit but motor is on bottom. Lots of screws to get to impeller and gaskets will fall out of place. Motor is easy to remove but gaskets are a challenge to get back after replacement. It will fix the problem for at least a while but It is unclear if the seal in the pump has a design problem and threfore allows water gets to the motor. The bearings fail but I do not know why. Bet LG knows but they are not talking. I hope but get no guidance from LG that the replacement of the motor is a permanate fix. Good luck to us all.
