Did you replace / reset fuse? Turn on washer again if it blows unplug it, unit has a dead short inside.

The top panel of the washer (model WM2277h) slides off towards the back of the washer. There are two white tabs on the back of the top panel. Each tab has two screws securing the tab to the top panel and the lower panel. Remove the lower screws from each tab and slide the top panel off by pushing it towards the back of the washer. Do not try to pry the top panel off due to damage to the top panel...

You may have to remove and clean out your drain filter located inside the cabinet between the bottome of the drum and the pump motor. Make sure you hand bail the water out of your drum prior to removing the drain filter. Your model may have a shut-off valve between the drain filter and the tub, if so turn it to the OFF position to stop the water flow. If you do have this shut-off valve you will not have to hand bail the water out of your tub. After you remove, clean and reinstall the drain filter, be sure to turn the valve back to the ON position.

Code flashing IE? The code means the machine is not getting enough rinse water. Remove the hoses from the back i=of the machine, pull out screens, cold water is blue tab inside connection on washer, hot water is red. Clean screens and insert them back into the appropriate connection. Use a stiff brush and water to clean. Reset the machine by disconnecting power, press start/pause button(blue button on right) for at least five seconds, reconnect power.

It appears your drive belt/coupling has failed in this instance.

The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.

LE toward the end of cycle probably means you had a bulky load which you tried to spin out at the high spin speed setting. Use a low spin speed with bulky loads. For this load now, just put power on and without selecting a cycle, push the spin speed selector button until a low speed comes up (should be about a 14 minute display) then push start to do a pump and spin only cycle.

I just replaced the impeller pump yesterday after having the same problem. It seemed to fix it (for now). I found the service manual at

The biggest problems I had was discovering that removing the base of the pump assembly required gently pulling/wiggling the base forward in order to get to the screws attaching the motor to the assembly, And putting back the spring that holds the door frame rubber gasket. Thanks for using FixYa.You are right OE is a Drain Error which indicates that the water was not fully drained within 10 minutes. To start with check the drain pump filter for any clogs/foreign materials and try to clean the filter. Also if you have already checked the drain hose for any blockage then check the pump for any blockages, if still its not resolved then it seems to be the pump that has gone bad. Thanks for using FixYa. LE error message indicates the control board has detected that the motor is either not turning, or has locked up for some reason. Monitoring the motor is the job of the Hall Effect sensor board which constantly determines the direction and speed of the motor and feeds that information back to the control board. If there is a problem between what the motor should be doing and what the hall effect sensor says the motor is doing, the 'LE' will be displayed and the cycle will be stopped. The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty (in US). It only takes around half hour to replace it with a new one. Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. IE is a water supply error. turn water off to machine and unscrew your 2 water hoses on back of machine and clean inlet screens with old toothbrush. if they are clean, you probably have a stuck closed water solenoid.

probably the main circuit board is failing. the display board is probably ok.

it's either a shorted motor stator or main circuit board failure.
