LG WM2277H Front Load Washer - Page 5 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
The DL error just came
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Presumably it is still under guarantee/warantee? You should contact the washer's service department before doing anything else as 'DL' does stand for Door Lock (error).
There is likely to be a problem with either the door solenoid/lock or the 'door closed' sensor needing an engineer's attention ;-0(
If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

How to remove bottom panel on LG WM2277 Washing
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Here are my complete and generic guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

The rubber gasket around the
You can replace it by lifting the lip of the rubber around the edge and finding the wire where the springs connect there you can stretch the springs apart, remove the wire and pull off the rubber.
Just make sure first that is where the leak is, sometimes a leak in the soap dispenser water tube can seem like door gasket leak.

"Over-sudsing is the main cause of LE error codes. Using non-HE (high
efficiency) detergents or too much detergent will cause stress on the
motor."
My washer has stopped it still has water and soap
Hello &
Welcome to FixYa
OE is a drain error and is displayed when the
washer is unable to drain water. Please check the drain hose and drain pump
filter for any clogs to clean the error. Please get back to me if you have any
other questions.

The washer is very loud
Hi
First you will have
to check the belt of the washer, to do this take the back panel apart and check
the belt. If the belt is fine then the issue can be with the drum bearing that
should be replaced, however please let me know how old is your washer for
further assistance.

Hello !
I have the LG wm2277hs washer machine.
Hi
The water leaking on floor can be a serious issue as this may cause the inside
parts to malfunction or in some cases rusting of the body. To check where
exactly it is leaking; inspect the leak while it is running. After the cycle is
complete quickly turn off the power, lie down the machine on left/right side
and check from where the water is leaking. If it is the hose or drain pump then
check whether hose is connected firmly and is not cut. If it not the hose/pump
inspect if the leak is on the drum corner or anywhere back of the
drum. However, if it is leaking from the circumference then it is due to
transmission seal. To replace the transmission seal you'll need to disassemble
the washer and the drum assembly.
Please post back in case of any issues. Hope
this helps...

Open the access door at the bottom left corner of your washer. Use the small hose there to drain the remaining water from the machine. Un-screw the big knob next to it and pull out the attached filter. Clean out the filter and re-install. If the filter was clear, replace drain pump motor.
Was working fine then house
Check the incoming power to the control panel.
If you have power there and control panel is not responsive then the control is bad.
Here is a link to your models service manual.....when page appears look to the left and download your service manual. It will show you how to get to the control power to measure for power.

The error you are receiving is a bad water valve inlet problem. It's typically the cold inlet, but it's better to replace both.
Depending on the type of water you have, the valves could have lots of sentiment blocking the filter screens inside the valve, which can be cleaned, you'll just need to remove the water hose attached, and check.
If your valves look clear, then they have just possibly failed, and need to be replaced.
