I have a LG2487hm washing

TE is a Therrmistor error, The thermistor senses the water temp. As with any error code it could be the part, Wiring Harness or Computer which is causing the issue. If you try cold temp wash the cycles may work. Geeks should OHM out the part to see if that is at fault. LG has 2 different Thermistors. 1. Thermistor is part of the heat element. 2. Thermister is separate. LG part# 6322FR2046C. Quick easy fix. Hope this helps. Mike

Hi all, I have an LG

Are you sure it is not an "tE" error code. Sounds like a thermistor error. A $6 part. Kinda easy to replace but must turn washer on its back or side to get to. Answer back with a comment to this answer if you want more info or repair guidance.

De error message on wash machine

For LG washers, the DE error indicates a problem with the door lock. If you just started the cycle and the error occurred, then the door couldn't lock properly. (The machine turns off and indicates the error so that the water won't flood your laundry area.) First check if there are any clothes between the door and the frame. If needed unplug the washer for 5 minutes. Then restart the machine try to open the door. If you pressed Pause, wait a minute or two. If the error occurs at the end of the cycle, it may not be unlocking properly. The latch mechanism may have failed or the PTC sensor in the latch has failed. The entire latch would need to be replaced. Here's one: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/lg-door-lock-switch-6601er1004c-ap4441836.html . If the door locked failed with the door closed or the washer is under warranty, contact LG or a repair professional for service. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Cold water won't stop before rinse cycle

if it fails to stop running only at the rinse part of the cycle it is probably in the timer as the solenoid valve has to cut the water off when the washer fills for the wash cycle too. fills for wash cycle and cuts off water, washes and drains, refills for rinse cycle and water just keeps running? does this every time you run it? that's in the timer. bad solenoid (water inlet valve) would keep running even on wash fill up. hope this helps.

Lg tromm washer leaks from detergent drawer

my washer also was leaking from the dispenser and I had a cap from one of the detergent bottles stuck in the inlet hose. Don't know how it got in there but glad I found it so if your washer leaks from the soap tray it could be a cap from your detergent bottle stuck in there.

My LG washer is displaying

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
'te' for an LG normally means 'heating error' (Temperature).
(It might be worthwhile trying this but sorry, no promises 1)
This could be that the element is coated in calcium. I suggest you run the contents of a couple of sachets of proprietary limescale removing powder/fluid through it. The most efficient way is to put the contents in an empty washer and pour a kettle or two of boiling water into the drum then leave overnight. In the morning run just a spin; the water mix will then go through the drain filter and drain motor impeller blades, doing absolutely NO harm whatsoever, in fact some good!
You could also consider repeating the action ;-0)

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Water will not fill drum and I have checked all

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
This sounds like a malfunctioning water control valve- the hot water one, if the washer is hot and cold fill, and the cold one if it is just cold fill!
Sorry but it needs replacing and a service call to confirm that it is not something else ;-0(
Good luck,
